Really been enjoying these main channel videos. I don’t often have time to catch streams or watch VODs so these are a really nice way to watch! Love Pete and his attitude
It is because he shows desire to be in on their culture so they open up more. I get the same in Hong Kong. Most English teachers here just hang out in their little English communities and never get involved while I go out solo around the real areas of Hong Kong and talk to all the locals in full Cantonese. The show of effort goes a long way.
Walking around Tokyo and bar hopping by myself was probably one of the best experiences of my life. You'll get to know so many people, and find the coolest places. This brings back memories.
You're one of the coolest cats around! Always a pleasure tuning into your streams when I've had a long day especially. Your energy is infectious I tell ya.
Gotta love the energy you have man. Discovered you from taco bell stream with the boys at ludwig , then re-discovered you on bike stream with connor . Each time , you were the literal star of the show. Keep doing such great content!
it's so nice that the videos are edited now, i don't have the time to watch streams but getting a edited video with the best parts from a stream is really nice!
I love these videos. I try to catch most of streams(and bother Peter with my comments :D), but i am really glad for these highlight videos (even though i wish they were longer, but i understand its hard to edit it). Next week i am leaving to Japan for first time, so if i get through my social anxiety i hope to visit at least Daps.
Great tour, thank you for taking us with you! I am now a subscriber. This was like going bar hopping myself. I had a drink when you did so I could enjoy your video more! Can't wait for the next bar stream...
thanks for showing so many interesting areas. when I was in japan I was really scare to visit these places not knowing japanese, but seeing them all so friendly I'm willing to try on my next visit :)
Pete, I just want to let you know that your content makes my day, day after day. As someone who has depression and social anxiety, seeing you go out there with a big smile and enjoying drinks and life with others makes me feel a little better. You make me happy man, I wish the best for everything 🙏
Thanks for the Tokyo nightlife spot ideas, Pete! We sadly didn't spend as much time in Tokyo this year, but something to look forward to next time! Also playing with the idea of making a fan-animation for you - let me know if there is a game you liked streaming, and I'll see what I can come up with :)
i've been trying to learn casual japanese so i can speak and interact with locals exactly like this and watching Pete has made understanding casual vocabulary and grammar SO much easier.
I *love* videos like this! It's really cool to see places that otherwise I would never see. The atmosphere looks great there. Everybody enjoying good drinks, food and company. Thank-you for this video, I enjoyed it very much.

I know tipping isn’t a thing, but is it okay to buy them drinks? Love how wholesome and friendly you are. Easy sub! The only IRL streamer I used to see was coverage of a menace, this is a good change.
Not a Twitch guy in any way but I'd sub. Loving this content - giving me a lot of ideas for places when I head to Japan in September 2024 for some sight seeing and some NJPW shows in Sapporo. Cheers, Pete!
I salute your social skills, Pete. I can hardly strike up a conversation with other Americans let alone people from another culture & language in their country. 🤣Pete's that wingman I'd need.

how the hell do those 2 guys just teleport to wherever pete is planning to go before he reaches there
hahaha i was thinking the same!
I think they show Peter getting lost, and he said where he was heading. They are just more efficient at travel.
