His dad is a legend here, Sérgio Hanazono. Basically, the one who brought drift from Japan to Brazil in around 2008/2009.
Young talented drifter there reminded of James Deane, he was 16 when he first come to the US. I hope these Brazilian drifters also get a chance to compete in International scenes.

The 328 Ti uses Chevrolet/Opel Omega A rear end
Omega diff, axels and a few adjustability from Omega camber/toe arm

There are tons of people in the USA who are building M50/2's now that all the big guys are swapping them out for 2jz's & you can buy the original motors for cheap!

Top pieces from famous brands are not very economically viable, so we manufacture our own pieces.

This type of content is the best. I love seeing grassroots guys and their setups and what they do to keep them reliable. It’s always cool seeing cars that don’t have crazy budgets that get absolutely down.

I can't explain exactly why, but although I knew all those cars already, I had big chills running down my spine while watching this video. having Duarte and Adam complimenting our drivers ingenuity is so heart-warming. I think that's what most of the drift fan-base in Brazil is lacking: positivity. I'm sick and tired of hearing people talk smack about our own drift scene because they don't appreciate BMWs or because they wanted to see massive 1000hp v8s everywhere. I do get it, gotta love the ultimate weapons from FD, but holy crap isn't it cool to see one of the biggest competitors out there having a blast at Mega Space and showing sincere interest in our simple builds full of gambiarras (macgyver style, babyyy)?
and with Barion, Higa and Medici running FD, I'm sure we're very well represented out there. So hopefully drifting will keep growing here in Brazil in such a way that people will look upon our competitions with as high steem as they have for FD and DMEC

It’s so crazy seeing some cars in this video that I’ve seen all over the internet before. I’ve seen multiple clips with the panda on the dash but I never knew where it was from. Love these traveling videos, inspires me to get my first build here in the states.

I’ve seen that mercedes in my hometown (Goiânia) supercool twin turbo merc, sounds good too! Unfortunately the track he drove in wasn’t really setup for drifting. Nice to see you enjoyed yourself, feel welcome to come down to Brazil whenever you get a chance man!

Those Volkswagen radiator reservoir are in every beetle, jetty, golf , etc I'm very surprise your guy didn't know where it was from with all the care your have seen.
These Brazilians are hardcore racers. Scavenging and using parts where ever they can find them. Costs are probably way high to run em.. Tires, tires, tires, fuel. That more likely hurts the pocket the most.

Mega Space is the crown jewel of the brazilian drift scene, the other drift venues aren't that great because for some reason the great tracks here have been always refusing to host drift events, Interlagos hosted a small event on the parking lots back in 2022 and nothing else.
you have to visit one of the most insane tracks in Brazil, Serra Do Rio Do Rastro is a mountain road with 284 curves, a few times a year they close this road to hold drift and racing events, the track is similar to the tracks from Need For Speed Carbon, search on YT: Serra Do Rio Do Rastro Drift
