    Please don’t ever be mean to your nurses. A lot of physicians can be rude to their nurses & I work in labor & delivery as a PCT & it’s so sad to see that happening. Nurses are there caring & watching for YOUR patient. Giving meds, starting IVs & etc. Be kind & appreciative :) I’m not saying you will be a rude physician, but I see it constantly. Forever grateful for you Rachel!🤍

      @@mohammedbinmahfooz7718 heyy. I'm in my 4th year (6 year programme). I could only speak from my experience but since I've done a year of clinical work I found it easier to grasp most of the pathologies and pharmacology related to it. And I decided to take it this year because I want to take step 1 before I apply for USCE and before they change it to pass-fail.

      @@HA-rh1bb for an international medstudent currently in their third year (6 year programme too) would you recommand taking the usmle before january 2022 just bc of the pass/fail? Or would it be better to do it at the end of the 4th year, which is the first clinical year (june 2023).

    • @HA-rh1bb
      @HA-rh1bb 3 года назад

      @@Xandrynel Honestly you should take it when you feel ready :) From what I have read if you're planning to match into a competitive speciality or a top-ranking programme it's better to do it before they change it to P/F. But then again don't rush into it, you can always get a great score for step 2, but I feel like now is the best time for me to do it. And since we have classes online mostly I have more free time to study.

    I would love the videos to be 15-20 minutes! That’s my favorite length of video but I understand it’s hard to get that much footage with your schedule. I love the vlog style but something I’d like to see more of is FOOD! A what I eat in a week would be great, or just a grocery haul included in the vlog. One of my only resolutions is to reduce food waste. I am a vet student and just cook for myself so it’s just hard to make meals for one with such a busy schedule! 😘

All of your videos are great, I love the way you try to normalize emotions throughout study times, to not glamorize medicine, and to show also the difficult aspects of it. for 2021 I'd like to see more study with me videos or something like that, more live streams studying, and to keep being you and improving yourself, and showing us your emotions. Yes Queen I love your videos and how real you are with your emotions and breakdowns, its so relatable for me and keeps me going despite how much of a cry baby I feel I am, I know my emotional personality will help me be a more compassionate care giver, and even better advocate so im sticking in there. Starting my last semester of Paramedic School! I will graduate by May, and I will be NREMT certified by June! No excuses Ive got this, and you've got this too! yay for stressful fun semesters! Ok byeeee.

    Don't hate yourself for crying, sitting there all day and studing so much can really by overwhelming. I really is hard sitting alone so many hours especially during COVID. For me, espescially evenings are pretty tough, when I am really tired and just have to let the emotions out.
    It is normal to have bad days and if anyone says otherwise then they apparently don't know how hard studying medicine is.
    In my country we have 6 years of medicine, and I'm doing third year right now, so I have three more years to go.
    I hope it'll pass quickly.
    Lot's of love :*

    BEST of LUCK for your upcoming 3rd year , specially pathology , I think note taking is waste of time as it's just passive and time consuming .
    Hope 2021 is New start for all of us .
