Do you wear swim fins, I don’t wear them and do just fine
Always wear swim fins as it helps a lot with control and getting onto waves.
@@iaincampbell_ ok I’ll look into some, but for some reason they make my feet cramp up a lot
those rails remind me of the old wave rebel boards... the McGee board mainly. he was a massive dk rider too. 50/50 rails they were tagged as in the 90s.

@@iaincampbell_ are these rails unique to this limited board? Chines were laminated on strips of foam if I remember rightly like the Mach 7s. These look similar.

Hahaha new board always needs a sand rub as they are slippery as! Also I do it to get the old wax on there grippy
@@tomasini5892 Yes its for grip. There is a slime layer left after the board making process that needs some rubbing to get it off!

Do I need those types of flippers because I have some from my snorkel set and was wondering if I could use the ones I already have even tho they are a little different.
The dive fins are not the best… as powerful as they are they will hurt your ankles and hinder your riding. Best to get a set of shorter swim fins.

@@iaincampbell_ ive been bodyboarding for a long time now but yesterday was my first time since a year. I managed to get into the big waves instantly. But it was too easy. Do you know 1 skill i should learn myself that would be pretty cool. I have 3 weeks to practice so💪🏽
Just getting your position on the board correct is the best thing. I do have some video to show that but getting speed is the best skill you can have.

Found a dead dolphin in one of the caves there last week and also had my first bodyboarding experience on that beach im hooked now after a week i went to paddleboard but didnt fancy taking a sup into the ocean the waves where a bit big for me so the first day for the paddleboard so i brought a decent bodyboard we visited a few places more off the map as my cousin has a friend that lived in cornwall nost his life i can not wait to get lut again but live 8 hours away
Sounds so epic other than the dolphin! Just keep getting in as often as possible and enjoy the process. Maybe see you out there 🤙🏼
