I think surfline said 15-18
Wow I would’ve never guess that… I know you can never tell unless you’re in the water.. but Hawaii 15-18 looks different 👍
Must measure from the front/ face of the wave. Back side looks 5-7 tops. But still nuts 🥜
@@JoatMon808 gopro effect haha, and surfline is not always accurate… In hawaii they measure the back of the wave and California they measure the face, so californian measurement tends to be about double. Plus everybody seems to measure differently, usually my personal measurement falls somewhere in between hawaiian and californian, closer to hawaiian. Also what i call a 2 foot wedge wave i might call a 5 foot wave elsewhere so idk how accurate any of this is lol. Ill just say decently big
This maybe a stupid question, but why don't you put your leash on your board?
At wedge it breaks so close to shore, and its best to paddle out near the jetty, id rather just not wear a leash
