    Nice concept. beneficial for urban scenario subject to pcu. To what extent the lane width can be reduced if it is used by HGV

      There is no mention of minimum lane width, but I assume 3 m is good enough for HV also.

    Thank you sir for your informative videos 🙏. Sir, I have a doubt about this, will it not reduce the capacity of the road, which may create a bottleneck type of situation if we reduce a number of lanes of the existing facility.
    Or it is just for improving the safety of unsafe locations only?

      Yes, it will certainly reduce the capacity if we are reducing the number of lanes. The planners claim that this reduction will be very limited as the intensity of interaction with the turning vehicles will reduce drastically, if this concept is implemented. It is a trade-off between capacity and safety and in this process safety has an edge.
