- Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri) is a Vedic teacher (Vedacharya) and author of forty published books on Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedic studies translated into twenty languages worldwide.
Vamadeva is the only American to have received the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award of the government of India, for his Vedic educational work. He has a Doctor of Letters, their highest academic credential from S-VYASA (Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana) the only deemed Yoga University in India) and received a special National Eminence Award from SIES (South India Educational Society). He has done many programs with the Ministry of AYUSH, which covers Yoga and Ayurveda.
Vamadeva is the director of the American Institute of Vedic Studies in the United States (www.vedanet.com), which offers publications and courses in Vedic knowledge systems, including Yoga Ayurveda, Vedanta, and Vedic astrology. He is associated with Vedic organizations worldwide. He is regarded as one of the pioneers in the global spread of Yoga and Ayurveda over the last several decades.

So you are all Hindus graduating Hindus? Like all of yoga, ayurveda is all about the Hindu Dharma. Remember Hindus have Sanskrit names. There is no serious Hindu named David.
It's his birth name.
Lord Jagganatha is "Lord of the universe" which includes those with non Indian names

@@Jason.Brayshaw right, but when becomes a Hindu they take on a legal Hindu name. Using a Hindu nickname does not demonstrate a sincerity to the Dharma.
That's your opinion, but since you are not Hindu it really means nothing.
