Nice to see Joe again, quite handy having friends that know their stuff. You ought to talk him into playing on a vlog. I used to love watching his silky swing.
Great to see Joe again! He explains things so well and takes such pride in his work. Dan if you had a setup like that in your garage I don’t think you’d ever actually play, you’d just be tinkering all the time!! Wonder if a fitter that has just had enough has ever just said to a player, “How about you get a better swing instead of complaining about the club!”
Great to see Joe the Pro working his magic. I have just had my irons checked to see if there is anything better out there but the Callaway Apex irons are still the right club for me. Next check is the 3 wood and driver. Then the only reason something doesn’t work is the soft silly bit on the end! 😂
Enjoy Joe in the shop, but enjoy Joe more on the course. great show as always. Just sit back and enjoy a relaxing cup of JOE (hehehe) on sunday morning here in the states.
Great vlog, really interesting about bag setup and brilliant having the 'mad professor' Joe back on the channel! If I knew someone like Joe I would be in there all the time - just can't help tinkering and having an expert to guide me would be heaven!! Good luck in the pro-am, hope it goes well.
Great content, I have a similar issue with gapping at the top end between my 5 iron, 19deg rescue and my 7 wood, playing in Cyprus the weather conditions are different but removing a wedge and inserting a 4 iron may fill the gap. Good to see Joe the Pro again, better to see him playing even though his knowledge about club fitting is impressive.
I am into re gripping golf clubs had a few panic moments when grips stopped halfway down but great to see someone like Joe the pro do the full works.Good luck with the three iron been a long time since a three iron found it self in my bag😊
Firstly, great to see Joe the Pro again. Secondly, the Technical workmanship side of golf is something I love watching and have started messing around with myself at home. Love this content Dan 👍
Swingweighted is the proper term. Joe has a nice shop. Good story on the crushed box on the Scotty putter. Murdered out with that black KBS shaft and certainly a Score !
Great to see Joe "The Golf Monthly" Pro, boy does he know his stuff!! Enjoy Portugal Dan, hope you and your 3 iron perform, be nice to see Jimbo back on the channel too.
Undergoing treatment for cancer at the moment, Dan. Your videos really help me to keep me connected to the game. They're always great. You've come such a long way since the Mark days, although I still watch the vlogs with you, Mark, Coach and Rory almost every day! Comedy gold.
Really interesting show Dan. Thank you. Big thanks to Joe of course too. I have a similar issue - needing more firepower (if you could call it that!) at the long end of the bag. Also, I cant seem to get my 52Deg wedge set up correctly. Could be swing issue - probably is. I might get my, now redundant, 3 iron re looked at. A new shaft maybe. then go for a 46/54/58 combo with the wedges rather than 46/52/56/60
Afternoon Dan, messing around with a 20 degree 4 iron with a 3 iron shaft and a 21 degree hybrid myself for a similar gasping for that 190m shot. 4 iron great but comes out a bit flat, so sticking with the 21 degree hybrid due to how hard and bouncy it is right now. Another great video mate and great to see Joe again. Cheers.
Interesting video Dan ,I’m still using sm6 wedges the gap wedge is something I don’t use that often ,still looks fairly new where as the lob and sand wedge have been sharpened up plenty over the years .Only a few weeks ago I acquired an old Wilson deep red 3 iron which I sometimes chuck in the bag as it’s easy to hit .I think something like a 919 mizuno tour in 3 iron would be too much just to match my set .Probably won’t use it that much as the 7 wood does that job pretty well but it’s nice to have options sometimes ,7 woods an awesome club .Good luck in the pro am and leaving this weather behind for a bit .
Well done Joe on the correct use of the English language! Clearly knows his stuff on club building too 🙌 Play well in Portugal this week Dan and hope that 3 iron behaves itself 👍
My boy is a greenkeeper. Went into it straight out of school after Covid. Was just to earn a few quid in between college. Gave up college and now in full blown apprenticeship. Massively proud of him.
Swung weighted did make me chuckle 😂......top end of the bag same as me i play pw and sw thats it i manipulate my pw for everything never have a problem and never feel like i need a gap wedge. Maybe its from my junior days when thats all you had so you learnt to be flamboyant and manipulate loft.
Don't know how well the Scotty Circa 62 line sold. If I remember correctly, it was one of the few (only?) models in the last 20 years that wasn't available in anything other than a 35" length.
I would like to see you pick, say, a 15 hcap player , take their bag to Joe the pro. Get him check the bag and check it over and make adjustments if needed , to see if it can improve the person golf. Nice project over the winter and spring
Nice1 Dan... I do my own club building... it made me wince seeing Joe holding the head whilst drilling the hosel out. I was doing that once and the drill bit snapped and I ended up in A&E having stitches in my thumb 👍 😂
You’re right tbf Paul, that’s a habit I need to get out of but I’m too impatient at times to set it up in a vice! I’ll regret it when I drill through my hand eventually though as you say so I promise to stop!!
This is the first golf-related vid I have watched since becoming an ex-golfer earlier this year (due to health-related issues) and it was good to see Joe & Dan tech talking and building. I hope that you Guys are all okay and that the Pro-Am and the new club are successful👍👍
@@DanHendriksenGolf Healthwise, not so good, so unfortunately golf was no longer an option. But I'm hanging on for now and hoping that someone might get me new eyes & a heart for Christmas👍👍
Swing weighted Dan, swung weighted, may sound like past tense, but is not right Dan, we all knew what you meant, but laughed anyway. Best of luck in Portugal.
My whole life I have never been fit for a set of golf clubs I recently got fitted for a set and they put me in a x pro modus shafts and I'll be honest my average score was better with the stiff shaft and they were with the fitted shafts that I we're fitted to me
Brilliant seeing gentleman Joe again. Another much missed DHG superstar. Really interesting watching this. Good luck in Portugal. PS Does Joe paint customize?

An excellent video Dan and Joe. I really enjoy these types of videos. Thanks again
I also use k grind through the winter Dan . Great tip for the wet bunker. Not easy to open the blade up. 👍
Nice one Dan. I’ve always said “The Aspirational Golfer needs a Joe the Pro in his garage”.
I want a friend like Joe the Pro! I think it should be swing weighted. Good luck in Portugal.
Beautiful work by Joe. That putter is a killer!
Interesting to watch and listen to Joe. Good luck in Vilamoura, Dan and team.

Great to see a craftsman at work. Enjoy Portugal
Love all the techy stuff with Jo. I got fitted for lighter stiffer shafts. Really worked for me in my irons. Keep Kev out the lakes!!!! 😮
Nice surprise to see Joe the Pro again! Hats off to anyone that treat their profession with respect and it sure seems that's the case with Joe!🙏
Nice custom job on the putter - looks 🔥
Always nice to see Joe. I want his garage too! Good luck in the pro am team.
Swing weighted
Joe seems to be a perfectionist…which is what you are looking for. Interesting content, thanks
Good luck in Portugal Dan!
Bring in more Joe The Pro! Love to see golf club work. Great Video Boys!!
Good old Joe. I play 8 deg M grind lobber in firm conditions, 14 deg from around Oct to Apr in UK. Saves me a lot of chunky chips 😂

Love these videos, and the details around club building.
Excellent Sunday morning show once again Dan. Lovely to see Joe Le Pro again and happy trip to Portugal 🇵🇹
Swing weighted, like club fitting, as apposed to club fit.
Seems like you just got fitted for new SM9 wedges at Titleist... Head Case
Great to see Joe the Pro! Love his kind of humor and expertise so much. Great video overall. To me as a german it`s called `swingweighted`🤣

Yeah think your right, they didn’t last long on the market
Love watching this stuff, was initially surprised the lie angle wasn’t mentioned by Joe, but then it was. Good numbers 👌
He doesn’t have a loft and lie machine, so we decided not to talk about it 👍

swing-weighted, as it's weighted to the swing (noun).
Dan, this is some fine tuning for a pro.
Great video Dan!!!
G’Day Dan, great video hope you do well in the Tournament….let Joe know I’m enjoying his articles online at Golf Monthly. All Good Mate.
If it works great but 10 degree gap in the wedges feels extreme. 46/52/58 works for me but as I say if it works.

Swam await 😂

It’s a video for sure, Joe and I have briefly talked about it but with no real conclusion, it’s worth looking at 👍
A drill bit to clean a hosel!? They make wire brushes for that without damaging the hosel….
Drill bit to get the bulkier dried glue off and then a wire brush bit to remove the finer particles and rough up the inner walls 👍
You can’t beat Joe the Pro
Great video Enjoy Portugal
Like seeing Joe the Pro again
Great to see Joe the pro
Very informative would be good if you could explain numbers more and what they mean to us mere mortals. Cheers Dan.

Hi Dan, does Joe the pro run this as a business? I need my irons loft and lie checked
No he doesn’t unfortunately, if it’s just loft and lie, most pro shops should have this to offer you 👍
