Always thought Al Pitrelli was seriously underrated in Megadeth. This solo is right up there with Friedman and Poland.

This is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best songs from Megadeth. I remember I heard it for the first time in 2001 and it still blows me away. The solo by Al Pitrelli is insane, fantastic, with a unique feeling, and one of the best solos from Megadeth alongside Tornado of Souls. Al Pitrelli had a short but impactful stint.

Awesome! How do you get that sound at 0:25-0:26? I'm assuming you're hitting 2 strings at the same time but I can't figure out what frets/strings?
I think by accidentally hitting the B string on the 15th fret in that case

Yeahh!!! A good old French Handmade LAG Rockline guitar from the 90's. Mine stay pristine since 1997 when I bought it new for my 15th anniversary... My first real guitar... A real "Proust's Madeleine"!!!

@@ristridi I don't know where you live but here in France those guitars (RockLine: Standard, MetalMaster, Laser...ect...) are sold on the second hand market at a bargain price, sometimes less than 300$!!
