    I have a tambourine which I hardly ever play, and I've been looking for a foot tambourine for a while now, but didn't want to pay $50 for one. I just came across your video and it's the perfect solution. Thanks so much!!!!

      I think I would have to add some effect pedals and some tower amplifiers to get it to rock but it was fun, none the less. Thanks for tuning in Barb.

    I just tried to buy an expensive foot tambourine set up from a well known percussion company from Germany. The thing was broken when it arrived. So I returned it and inspired by your video, I made a much simpler and lighter option. I think my rubber bands and chair taps will outlast the fancy German setup. Plus it cost me about half the price. If I could have found my pack of door bumpers, it would have cost me just the price of the tambourine.

      I'm glad that I was able to inspire you to make your own version of this project Lisa. It's a great project that is simple and provides a wonderful way to add some percussion to your music playing without having to spend a fortune to do it. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your comment. I'd love to see your version of this project. Feel free to email pictures to kennye@acutabovewoodworkings.com

    I would have had the grain running rear to front as your foot is applied.

    • @acutabove_woodworkings
      @acutabove_woodworkings  2 года назад

      If that's the way that you would prefer it Jim, then by all means align the grain that way. It's really just a visual thing when it comes to plywood anyway as the grains alternate direction with each layer so it isn't a strength issue. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your opinion. It's appreciated.
