    What is your favorite credit card setup? Are you a Chase fan or do you prefer the Amex Trifecta? Or what about Capital One or Citi Bank?

      Chase (wBILT) ecosystem all the way! We're blessed to have my wife working for a major airline so we can fly for free; Hyatt is where we transfer all of our UR points for massive value. If Wells Fargo gets Hyatt as a transfer partner, then my sock drawer WF Autograph Card will make its way back into my wallet.

    Currently have the CFF w/5% gas & grocery bonus, so loving the 9% this quarter. Was also able to max out the PayPal category last quarter, so it’s been a great earner for me w/no fee.
    Great video 👍🏽.

    Just started out my Chase trifecta journey. I was able to get a pretty good elevated bonus for the chase freedom unlimited, so that will be an awesome catch all/point racking card for the year. And i Just got the sapphire preferred in my line up as well. Eventually I'll get the flex, but I am being methodical about it. Great video. A lot of folks don't realize some of their cards come with additional perks and benefits.

    So we do a quadfectra. The Amex Blue Business Plus as our catch all 2%. Amex Gold Card for the obvious. Venture X for our travel card because of its superpower of free authorized users that receive Priority Pass (we’re a family of five). And finally the Sam’s Club plus card, 5% back on all purchases at Sam’s and 5% and back gas.

      Only trouble there is you split your spend to other eco systems.
      So we can't get all the pts towards, whatever; travel-hotel, etc.
      Course each person's needs are different so that might not effect this set up.
      Fun stuff, figuring out the game. :)

    I currently have the Chase Freedom Unlimited and Chase Ink Cash. I am planning on getting the Chase Sapphire Preferred later this year. I also have the AmEx Gold and Blue Business Plus. I plan to get the Platinum either late this year or early next (depending on the welcome bonus). Then I will have both Chase and AmEx trifectas.

    I am under 5/24. Right now i only have csp, capital one venture, and discover. I am thinking about maybe upgrading to csr for the travel but i think i will work with the csp for now and then maybe add a freedom unlimited and work with those two for now. Getting lots of points is my focus now, but i know my limits in credit card usage.

    • @Spend.Earn.Travel.
      @Spend.Earn.Travel.  9 месяцев назад +1

      The upgrade to the CSR would be great for travel. I have the CSP and I have considered the upgrade as well. But I currently have the Amex Platinum so I'm not sure I want to right now.

      @Spend.Earn.Travel. earning huge points is important in travel but knowing your limits in handling the credit cards should also be. Priority. I think I'll keep the csp for now but pair it with a Marriott hotel card. Its only been 6 months since I got csp so I'm not sure when to apply for it. Wait a year? 6 mths?

      Just my 2 cents. I have the CSR and that puts my redemption for travel at 1.5 times the points I have. Take for example the chase freedom unlimited flat rate of 1.5 x1.5 = 2.25 points/$ spent worth when travelling with the chae portal. Although other cars issuers like C1 venture x have 2% flat rate however cashback redemption is 0.5 cent for 1 point. Chase trifecta is already solid it just needs a permanent grocery section. As for overlapping categories, it is made like that in order to have 1 card not the whole 3. For someone waiting on the 5/24 that's ideal.

      @@mohamadmohana6912 Nice that it works for you which is the great thing about credit cards. I however only use my CSR as a gateway to transfer out to partners. I refuse to settle for the 1.5 redemption 😊. So the same goes for CP1. I hoard CP1 miles then move them to my favorite airlines. TBH, my favorite use-case for Chase is access to Sapphire lounges. I fly out of Boston and NYC which coincidentally both have Sapphire lounges. Good discussion. Take care.
