Danke für Deine schönen Aufnahmen. Lebte 94 für ein Jahr in Thai. u.a. Pattaya. War 2020 einen Tag dort🙁 - schön das einem wenigstens die Erinnerungen bleiben.
Tahitian Queen is alive and well, however, it is for sale and/or looking for investors. BTW: The sign reads 'Disco'. Today, it is currently thee only Rock & Roll bar in Pattaya.
so mad at myself for not having gone to thailand sooner. My first trip was in 2004 but I could easily have gone like 1992 and even 1986 as I was in California, but was just a young ignorant kid in the Air Force that knew nothing outside of the USA. I can only imagine how different my life would have been. heck I almost punched out and moved there in 2009. but fell into a ton of money making contract jobs so just took a lot of holidays there. Now full up financially and able to retire, but the darn place is in the middle of COVID so I will wait a good part of this year, and see how the processes and policies shake out
Great post. To think of all the money I've wasted going on pointless package holidays from '86- 2000. Then I finally pushed the boat out and had my 1st taste of SE Asia via a month in the Philippines, which was utterly brilliant, but it doesn't quite cut the mustard with Thailand for absolute indulgence. Been to Pattaya/ Bangkok and some of the island's about 8-9 time's from 2007-2016.
Thanks, brilliant photos and music
Thank you for the memories. Love it.
Geniale Fotos, alles irgendwie schöner als heutzutage. Abo ist natürlich auch raus. LG, Tom
Danke schön

Would have been fun visiting pattaya or thailand during these times. But there is no time machine and it will never be the same again.
