1. While opening an account with Upstox would the same DMAT account be considered?
2. Would it only be a new trading account that would be created?
3. Can I manage the shares I hold through Upstox if I migrate to Upstox?

Thanks for this highly informational video. Can you please clarify the following. 1. What do we mean by 'leverage' and what is the difference between Priority and Basic. Quoting 'during intra-day trade, you can buy or sell for 27/20 times the amount you have with you' Is it possible to buy for more than the amount we have in our trading account? I guess I haven't got it clear. 2. Can a student without any permanent source of income and hence no income tax return acknowledgment slip or salary slip but with an existing bank statement of six months, trade in derivatives, commodity market etc? Sorry for the lengthy doubts.

I have no idea how can Now complete my registration process, though they already collected the fees as well

Hi sir, I used the link given below and visited the site. But I could have find a new interface there. And i started filling up all the information they required. In this interface the signature was not to be uploaded as picture where as it is to be drawn in the box they provided. When it comes to add my account details I got a call saying that the call is from upstox please upload the details as soon... Will they assist us like this while opening an account. Looking forward for your response sir.

Very good video tutorial... can you mentioned the same for NRI in a different video . Upstox don’t have NRI option. I opened a/c in KUVERA . But for share purchase it is routed though 3 rd party brokers and brockers like ZERODHA is dealing with HDFC , AXIS AND ICICI etc . My account is in federal bank . Any suggestions please .

Just to update you that the formality to apply for a demat & trading account with Upstox has completely changed. Now, we don't need to upload any of the documents except the signature. Instead, we can simply connect them with our digilocker. That is it!!
