ഒരിക്കൽ amtrack ൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ train ൽ എന്തോ mechanical error വന്നു. Train 3 hour late ആയി. Late ആയതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ നമ്മുടെ സീറ്റിൽ ഒരു food box & water കൊണ്ടുവന്നുതന്നു. Cafe ഇൽ free കോഫി ആയിരുന്നു. എന്നാലും ഇതൊന്നുമല്ല എന്നെ അതിശയിപ്പിച്ചത്. ഒരു local station എത്തിയപ്പോൾ പെട്ടെന്ന് train നിർത്തി, കൂടെ ഒരു announcement ഉം, cigarette വലിക്കാനുള്ളവർക് ഒരു 10 mins break കൊടുത്തു. ആളുകളെ മടുപ്പിക്കാതെ അവരുടെ ഇഷ്ട്ടത്തിനും താല്പര്യത്തിനും വേണ്ടി ആ യാത്രയിൽ ആ crew കാണിച്ച തീരുമാനത്തിന് ഒരു big salute.

I agree Amtrak are so expensive, when I travelled from upstate NY to NYC, it cost me around $75 around 2 years ago and I am sure it’s even more expensive now. I don’t really understand why it’s so expensive.

I agree Amtrak are so expensive, when I travelled from upstate NY to NYC, it cost me around $75 around 2 years ago and I am sure it’s even more expensive now. I don’t really understand why it’s so expensive.
