Good video. I had a 2022 Cforce 1000 in May 2022. I put 3,500 km (2,200 mi) and I think it was around 300 hours. I blew two radiator fan fuses the first weekend I had it. That was it, no other problems the whole time. The clutching was much better than the 600. I hate how loud that 600 is at just cruising speed. But the twins seem to be much better. Anyway, I just traded my atv in for a new Zforce 950 sport g2. Hope I get the same reliability I already had. Cfmoto have a bad rep just for being Chinese, which I really get a kick out of because the people complaining are doing so on their Chinese made iPhones haha.
I have a 21 cforce 500s and have had 0 issues with it, very satisfied with it being my first Cfmoto atv. Only thing that gets me is the jerky take off, which is a common issue with that brand.
@@freedomisntfree_44 At least Japanese Brand names still mean something, as long as everything chinese is made by the communists ,Brand names mean nothing and cant be trusted because of it.
You have to have your foot on the foot brake to shift gears and to start if it is in gear or the starter will not engage. I have a 21 cforce 800 xc touring. It now has 5500 km on it. (3416 miles/250 hours) just had some starting issues on it. The main relay and the fuel pump relay. was starting to get a little flaky so I replaced them. works good now. Ordered the relays off Amazon five relays for 22 bucks. So I have spares now. Just been doing regular maintenance on. It seems to be good so far. I’m a mechanic so it wasn’t hard to figure out. The quality of these machines seems to be pretty good to me.
I have owned 2 cfmotos now one a cforce 800xc and the one I have now is a zforce 950 ho ex, and so far I didn’t run into any issues with both just regular maintenance, also probably cause I don’t always go full send into the mud and neglect it like lots of people do and then it breaks and they say “ these things are junk” as a 310t mechanic that’s been in trade for almost 10 years I can say biggest part of having equipment last long is good maintenance
@ yeah , but not everyone is going to get a good bike unfortunately it’s quantity over quality nowadays even in the name brand bikes , for the price and what you get with these machines is a good deal, and cfmoto has been getting better with the fit and finish with there products, I see allot more cfmoto and Segway SxS and atv’s on the trails
I agree, quality has gone down across all brands unfortunately. That’s why now a days i can’t justify spending that kind of money on any of the machines. I’ll stick with used ones.
I’ve never had any good luck on honda Chinese CDIs I had one that someone else had previous put on but it was basically new and it dang near burned the whole thing down but when working on a cf moto u might as well use them since there’s no difference lol love the videos keep up the good work
I bought a GPX 300 2-stroke and so far I'm happy with it. Not much electronics on it... still has a carb...got it 2k off from factory at the dealer, no set up, no freight ect...
Well all brands have problems, Actually ive seen more problems with polaris 570's lately than cf force, I was skeptical at first but they're actually hold up pretty good
My 2022 600 has 3900 miles and 206 hours on it now. I had to change the swingarm bushings snd nothing else yet. My model already had way better clutching than previous ones luckily. 7800 Eur out the door. Similar yamaha is 14 000 for streetlegal one though.
That’s great to hear that yours is treating you well! Obviously by the caked on mud of this one, I’m sure the owner doesn’t take care of it as much as he should.
@@rockspowersports i think so too! I maintain it myself and also keep it clean. Btw the gear grinding is "normal" on these, need adjustment. But mine has never done it again after about 1000 miles, i was careful with it too.

Thanks i appreciate that. Honestly the only reason i was in the market for the 400 was because it was cheap and I wanted to give it a good beating and see how it held up. So much for the “cheap price”
I have the same bike but 1 seater it's a 2021 I've not really had too many problems with it With over 3000 miles now. The winch solenoid had to be replaced and a bolt came lose in the rear pinyin. Easy fix both times. But I do wish I bought a Yamaha 700 that's what I was going to get.
Yeah I know people with cf motos that are just a couple of years old. One ripped of the trailer hitch from the frame just by normal use! Just look at the fram and a-arms etc compared to other brands. And as you said, alot of electrical issues. The newer ones are alot better i have heard but the price gap is also alot smaller compared to can am /polaris . I have a 2016 can am outlander 1000 with 600 hours on it and i have not even changed the battery yet 💪 greets from a snowy sweden
The first thing you do when you buy a CF moto is put a clutch kit in right away and upgrade your brakes. No surprise that there’s a delay in the clutch right now. They tuned like that from factory.
Hey rock powersports have you tried using a riding mower solenoid those are generally pretty good quality may have to do some modifying because they generally ground through the mounting hardware
I agree.... I've heard the electrical is bad on these, gotta dielectric grease everything once ya get it. Theres alot of parts on a quad, and it might look good from afar, but the cheap parts reflect in the price. It comes with nice rims, winch, nice guage, fake piggy back shocks, bumpers etc etc. But if ya gotta keep fixing stuff and having breakdowns than its all worthless. I noticed the plastics are super thin and bendy compared to other brands. And the resale is bad.... it might be cheaper initially, but after 3 years, the guy that paid more for the can am or yamaha or honda will get most their money back, where the CFmoto will need to be given away.
Had alot of issues with the starter solenoids on my 14 yamaha grizzly 450. I have prolly replaced it 5 times now over the years i have owned it since brand new. Replaced it this summer again with a new starter, the original starter went out finally. Now i will say it wasnt an oem solenoid so thats prolly the issue. Just ebay specials.
Honda, and Yamaha should have reasonable quality electrical components, as their suppliers are usually from other Japanese companies. I’m not aware of too many electrical issues with Honda, or Yamaha. Over time starters, power steering motors, electric shift motors, and in some cases electronic fuel pumps can go bad, but for the most part they fare pretty well.
I have 3 hondas and 2 yamahas. The problem with the yamahas in the assembled in USA part. Sadly on my '20 wolverine x2 the roof was installed backwards (no joke), the drivers seatbelt was installed flipped over, one bolt on the skid plate had a broken head and one was stripped. My '23 grizzly has the alignment off. Not to impressed by my fellow american craftsmanship. My 2020 honda rubicon had the dct problem that took them a year to figure out which was 95% resolved with a software update. Overall I would pick the grizzly over my rubicon. Once gone through the bikes have been reliable and I would still pick them over the competition.
@ Yeah the DCT programing had to be revised due to overheating issues. I have heard things like that about Yamaha before, like with the handlebars. I’ve never really noticed any issues like that with Hondas, their manufacturing process is pretty good. The prices on new ATV's, snowmobiles, SXS's etc. are insane. I bought a brand new, Honda 4×4 TRX 350 in 86. It cost me $3,500. Out the door. Nicely equipped & even had racks. Yeah, I'm cheap, but can't see where they've changed a lot throughout the years. To justify the massive price increase. One of those, today, will still outlast what's being made today.

😂 I would... I thought about taking a 1985 Moto4 to a mechanic to get it running, and it's got plastics falling off, holes over the wheels, mud all over the engine... What stopped me is that I don't have the money to pay for someone to look at it.
CF Moto are junk especially the older ones. My 2014 C-Force 800 has been nothing but trouble ever since I bought it. Ya it has really good power but ever since I put 2000 miles on it it's been broken in 1 way or another. Changed Starter solenoid at just over 2000 miles. 2,400 miles I had to put a new water pump and drive belt on it. Ignition switch replaced rite at 2,650, radiator fan replaced rite around 2,800 miles. Starter replaced at 3.255 miles. It currently has 3,386 miles on it and the front wheel bearings are going out.

😂
I would...
It currently has 3,386 miles on it and the front wheel bearings are going out.
сf is best atv now
My kawasaki prairie 650 with a severly worn belt has better clutching than that
Junk had a 22 uforce 1000xl 345 miles base gaskets failed do to much sealant used from the factory absolute junk machines you get what you pay for
Ouch, that sucks! Sounds like some people have good luck with them and some don’t.
I will continue to buy older Japanese machines and fix whatever they need than buying any Chinese machines
Charge extra for a dirty ATV/UTV
Probably close to the same quality as polaris. If they got rid of most of the electronics
*CCP*
*Cheap Chinese Product*
And I say that as someone who's worked on CCP GY6 crap for years in Florida.
There are reasons why they’re cheap. Cheap Flimsy Moto
