Honestly both sneakers are good in that particular price range. Depending how much you want to spend you get one or the other. Comparing with the sneakers that were in the past both are more than capable. Usually if you have overweight or you run longer distances is more convenient to have some extra cushioning. Although in my opinion Adidas Response is the better buy if I have to pick just one right now.
The Adidas Response (IG1417) seen in Ep142. That one was one of my favorites this year and little bit better than everything else for me, especially for his price... 75€ here in Spain. If you like watch that episode and you will see better why it was my #1 choice. I simply wish that more models were similar to that one these days. Those are almost "extinct" and is only sad that more and more models won't be like that anymore.
I'm not familiar with that particular model, yet in general I prefer black because it goes with kinda everything we wear... UNLESS where you live you have outside often 40ºC/104ºF, that will be my go to color. Because usually LESS is more... If outside is really hot climate, I tend to go to grey or green color (my NB More V4 has a dark grey color because of that). Those colors deal little bit better with the heat/sun. Bright colors look good only in special matched outfits, otherwise end up looking off if the outfit has itself other bright colors that are different than the footwear. Plus really bright colors don't protect well against the UV rays. They help with the heat but the UV's... I guess is up to you how you mix and match everything, without ending up looking FLASHY. That is something to avoid... IMHO.
$18 on Amazon Canada here. I picked up a pair of 10.5. I'm surprised how airy they are outside. Definitely not for winter. For summer, very good. Comfort is superb. Not the lightest shoes but for the cost, very reasonable. I'd buy them again if they keep the cost below $40. My only gripe is they're very plain-looking. Almost ugly in pure back.
I never tried those adidas switch but just by checking that outsole... I know that it will be something to avoid... Too much exposed foam in that outsole plus the shape of that outsole will possibly collect stones while you are running, that for me is something unacceptable. Now it's up to you which one to choose. For me Galaxy 6 is still better made.
Hi there, Probably they will be durable enough (except maybe if they have visual defects, be sure you check them well to spot eventual issues before you take them somewhere outside especially when has a lower price than normal). If you decide yourself for them, I recommend to start looking for softer & thicker insoles. Those will protect your joints quite a bit in long runs, because the cushioning in this model is really "in small amounts" (thin firm midsoles in them). For light running, they are OK enough for the price, but for anything more than 10 km in just one run... buy something better honestly (IMHO). That is the reason WHY we normally care (quite a bit) to have good and softer cushioning in them. All of us want economic and high performance... I'm afraid that so far I haven't seen a shoe with really low price but good for marathons. In other words: Light running = good enough. For more than that... add more money... is simply as that. My best advice is to look for outlet sneakers. "Pro sneakers" from other seasons will still be a Pro sneaker... only maybe not the latest & the greatest, but better performance than a regular one from this year... for sure. If you "look well" on internet, you might be able find good stuff at reasonable prices... if you have enough patience. I hope this reply helps you somehow!

Triple jump is a different "team", for that sport exists dedicated footwear. Is not "a blasphemy" to use a different kind of sneakers but they won't be useful if you care about that sport. If you check the dedicated footwear has in front end of the shoes some spikes, that are meant to be there to give it the optimal grip. If that part (so important) is missing you will have a really downgraded pair of shoes that won't be able to give you what you need. So... NO. BTW the prices of dedicated footwear aren't that different from the ones of running shoes. So it doesn't have to be more expensive if you don't want that. I hope you find this comment useful.
I didn't do it different that they came in the box. Just be careful to release them enough to avoid creating pressure points. That I do very often in adidas, because I have slightly bigger arch/instep and otherwise I have discomfort with them.
It depends of your the priorities. For me is a downgrade from Galaxy 6. Now has: - less weight (good), - less rubber outsole (bad for longevity and safety), - about the same cushion (here I wanted to see more stack if not a softer cushion) - less rugged build (durability will suffer) The Galaxy 6 is a better buy from my point of view. Can you recommend daily 5km run Shoes between duramo sl vs galaxy 6 Can i use both of them for trail run in park? My weight is 79kg (overweight) currently having shin pain problem so keeping that it mind please suggest best shoes
In the past (let's say 4-6 years ago) using regular (asphalt) running sneakers it wasn't a problem even for trail running (I use to use NB 1080 v9 in forests without hesitation for years), but because nowadays they have very small close to none mm of lugs, I recommend you to use dedicated trail footwear, otherwise you will lose grip and potentially injure yourself. I even encourage you to look for online outlet stores were with a bit of luck you can find trail sneakers at affordable prices. Something like NB More Trail v3 will be a good choice, because if you already have problems with your feet (shin pain) something without good cushion & traction as Galaxy 6 or Duramo SL will be a mistake from my experience. It doesn't have to be that model from NB but look for sneakers with bigger midsole stack and better outsole to be able to grip well on dirt, grass etc. With trail sneakers I have less experience and I can't help you as I wish I could. My last trail running sneakers were NB Hierro 6 few years back.
Sure, you're welcome! Galaxy 6 is has a good quality overall. They will do well their job for the price that they have. If they aren't been used in running for large distances (over 10k at once) I don't see major problems for them. Over 10k Adidas Response at least... The extra cushioning is important when we are planning to go for bigger number of kms/miles.

I share "my thoughts" according of my experience with these products... in the end the public is FREE to do it as it pleases, I don't mind at all the choice of others... For short runs as yours both will do very well. Duramo SL has more cushioning. Galaxy 6 "maybe" has more durable outsoles, but is not as breathable and definitely has less cushioning. Although both are good options for the price that they have.
@@ganeshp1245 I don't think I understand what you are writing there. Where are planning to use them? Is it indoors ? Outdoors? Or where exactly? IF it asphalt, most sneakers seen today in any physical stores are good enough for running in general. About Nike Revolution 7, I can't say anything because I never try it them so far...
I've seen softer than these ones, but I wouldn't trade these ones over the softer ones. These ones are really good sneakers from my point of view. For the price that they have I would buy them without any hesitation. The stack is giving them pretty decent cushioning. I've tested sneakers with 220€ price tag that don't have the cushioning that these ones have... Hopefully they will sell them for years exactly the way they are but knowing where everything is heading in 1-2 years top you won't see them again... Just me guessing. If right now I had to choose just 1 model from adidas (from everything that I've tried so far) no matter the price range... will be this one, and that I believe it says something. The only way to be improved (for the price that they have) will be maybe a better lining and a slightly wider tongue... other than that is really a "fair model".
@@distyarzabila2210 Ok, I will clear it up for you in a second. :) Most of the running sneakers are made for asphalt (Galaxy 6 included that are more than ok for 5KM running asphalted road), if you need them for running on the country roads, forest, national parks (with dirt tracks with gravel /& rocks) you have to look for dedicated sneakers that are marked as "Trail running sneakers/gear". That category in Adidas is called "Terrex" and have special bigger and thicker rubber lugs that will increase the grip in that kind of terrain (something like TERREX SOULSTRIDE ULTRA TRAIL, just an example). I hope this comment is useful (if so, your "LIKE" to the VIDEO it will be really appreciate it)!
EN: Hello, Normally the first thing would be to think... Well the lining material is too thin, but in this case it is not the worst I saw (there are others that have thin ones like women's tights) and here I really don't think it would be this (hence my "almost" average rating of 2.2/5* at 04:48). Some things and bad habits (that come to mind) that can reduce the life of the inner lining of footwear that we can all commit at some point: - Not having a pair of other shoes to make a weekly circle. That is, on Monday the blue ones, on Tuesday the black ones, on Wednesday I take the green ones and on Thursday I return to the blue ones... etc. - Do not open the laces to take them off and put them on and do not use a shoe horn (which by the way right now at IKEA they have them for €0.49 by searching for this name "SNÖSKYFFEL" and I bought a pair of them because they are at a correct price ), although we notice the extra pressure/friction all the time. - Wear invisible socks, although we noticed that the skin on the top of the heel comes into contact with the lining quite often. - Using the shoes during the rain (I have them already wet, but I have about 2-3 km left and I don't return home until I have finished them). - Some others, that I don't remember for now. Things like these can have a negative impact on footwear. I have "lifestyle" sneakers in the closet (like NB 997 and 991) that are approaching 8 years of intermittent use (by rotation with others), which still look like new. I changed a couple of laces more than anything, to give it a personalized style, but I want to say that with proper use they can have a fairly long life. I can get around ~3 years of use out of running shoes if they are well made. I hope you find this comment helpful in some way.

I wouldn't worry too much just by checking the size guide that is on their webpage. Those values aren't always accurate and the shape of the models can be very different sometimes. So... wait to arrive, use them for 10 minutes straight (somewhere indoors, on a clean carpet) to see well how they fit to your feet with the socks that you are planning to use them. If they don't have pressure points after 10 minutes of use, I believe a 95% that they will be good in the future too. Be sure to secure them well in your feet with the lacing system, in order to discover possible flaws. Not only the size can be sometimes a problem. The width is also very important, the materials, the cage and the contact with the instep, the tongue to be wide enough to cover the entire instep and so on.
Depends of your needs: - Softer and more "fragile" = NB. - Little bit firmer midsole and actually a rubber outsole that inspire Safety & Durability = Adidas. NB = Indoors Adidas = Outside (asphalt use) I hope this comment answered your question. If not, let me know without any hesitation.
Hi there, I haven't tried "reebok energen run 3". For 5k most (if not all of them) will do just fine, but my recommendation is going for Adidas Response (IH6009) from Ep142. Those have EVA foam (which can be found in a lot of variations), that EVA foam actually is a good one this time and better than average found in most of sneakers. Also the stack is way better, so the cushioning is really noticeable in comparison with Galaxy 6 that feel like they don't have any of that. Even though they have good comfort (those Galaxy 6) they can't compare with Adidas Response that are really much better overall.
They are True To Size in Adidas for me. I didn't seen any reason to size up with these ones so... I guess it's up to you. I would even say that they have more space in toebox than other Adidas running sneakers. They are Adidas models were going size up is crucial but here... I don't see why, if you already know well your size in Adidas.
Hard to say... The outsole isn't the thinnest I've seen, so in theory it should last. Although, why not going for Adidas Response?! Those are even better made. Those sneakers are inexpensive and more "complete" to me.
Oh... Ok, I understand. Check them in a store to see what you think. I did like them. With intense use I can't say how they will last. Depends of your habits I guess. The weakest part I don't think it will be the outsole in them. I believe it will be the lining, that is good but not great. If you use shoehorn they might last longer, I guess.
Everything for ME is better than Duramo Speed. Those "Speed" have serious "comfort issues", so I can't recommend those even for 1/4 of the price, or less. Those Speed should be avoided by anyone...
@@cuanokingstephenict12b63 In theory that Duramo Speed is a better shoe for longer runs. Has less weight, more breathable, little bit more cushioning, so it should had been a better sneaker for running in hot climate. Unfortunately, from my point of view they ruin it by making them with the tip too "sharp" (more like an arrow shape) and that is NOT normal for most of the feet. If you have a very narrow feet you might get away with that "design flaw". Otherwise, I believe you will end up having the same problem with them as I have.. That "detail" it creates bad pressure points to my toes after less than 5 minutes, and I only made few steps indoors for filming... without even going outside where we really pushing them. It resemble to Boston 12 in design (B12 are great without problems), the lock down works great and the feet won't slide to the front end of the shoe, so the feet won't rub "the rubber-plastic piece" that is used inside to reinforce the toe box. In Duramo Speed the proportions/materials or both are not at the level of Boston 12 that look similar but without the issues. If you like, check them in a store even compared to other and decide for yourself which one is better to your needs. I believe that everyone's feet are different, so it depends what adapts better for every individual. I couldn't recommend them knowing the problems that I had with them. If I wouldn't try them I wouldn't even guess that they will have "that" problem. The angle difference maybe is not that big in between "Duramo Speed" and "Boston 12" (or it might be even equal I don't know for sure, maybe are the materials used in Duramo Speed that fails to keep the feet in one place like it does the Boston 12). Something is different enough and that creates really serious comfort issues for MY feet. I personally wouldn't buy them for any price, no matter how cheap they are. I prefer something that won't create me health issues, even though I might sacrifice some cushioning, weight, breathability and so on. This is my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt!

Can you recommend daily 5km run Shoes between duramo sl vs galaxy 6
Can i use both of them for trail run in park?
@EasyLifeES thanks, one more thing if have to choose between duramo sl vs galaxy 6 which one will be best
Maybe Duramo SL but... On dirt... Is not the same...

Thanks for the reviews. Galaxy 6 is better for beginner jogging, running and walking.
Thank you
@@ashikulabrar6436 Sure, you're welcome!
Galaxy 6 what about size? Do you really have to choose a larger size than usual?
@@kokoko5063 At 06:47 is a scene where I show my feet over the insoles. And right after that one is another scene where I add the measurements of the insoles and the outsoles.
As you can tell from the first scene going +0.5 size up was the right choice for my feet, now it's up to you if you trust me or not. I share "my thoughts" according of my experience with these products... in the end the public is FREE to do it as it pleases, I don't mind at all the choice of others...
Going TTS in this model I am expectig a bit tighter fit than usual... So, because of that... my choice to go +0.5 size up. At 11:45 you can see my instep/arch of my feet, if yours is similar... follow my advice... otherwise... go your tts in Adidas if you know that you have flat feet.

Sir 5km or more daily run long running 🏃 koo which is better adidas duramo sl m vs adidas galaxy 6 tell mee ...
For short runs as yours both will do very well. Duramo SL has more cushioning.
Galaxy 6 "maybe" has more durable outsoles, but is not as breathable and definitely has less cushioning.
Although both are good options for the price that they have.

Is it good for cushion comfort
The only way to be improved (for the price that they have) will be maybe a better lining and a slightly wider tongue... other than that is really a "fair model".
is it comfort for run 5km outdoor on asphalt?
I once asked someone and he said these shoes cannot be worn for long distance running. im confused pls give me ur review
@@distyarzabila2210 Ok, I will clear it up for you in a second. :)
Most of the running sneakers are made for asphalt (Galaxy 6 included that are more than ok for 5KM running asphalted road), if you need them for running on the country roads, forest, national parks (with dirt tracks with gravel /& rocks) you have to look for dedicated sneakers that are marked as "Trail running sneakers/gear".

Hola 👋 bro .

Hello,
Normally the first thing would be to think... Well the lining material is too thin, but in this case it is not the worst I saw (there are others that have thin ones like women's tights) and here I really don't think it would be this (hence my "almost" average rating of 2.2/5* at 04:48).
Some things and bad habits (that come to mind) that can reduce the life of the inner lining of footwear that we can all commit at some point:
- Not having a pair of other shoes to make a weekly circle.
Gracias por la información . Sabes cuál daria mas altura las adidas galaxy 6 o las adidas alphaboost v1 ? . Yo mido 1.75 ( 5'9 ) de altura y quiero verme mas alto 😅 . @@EasyLifeES

Nunca he probado los ALPHABOOST V1... así que no puedo opinar. Por ejemplo los Adidas Adizero Boston 12 tienen bastante en el talon... unos 36mm y 30 de frente (una cosa así si no me equivoco). I have never tried the ALPHABOOST V1... so I can't comment. For example, the Adidas Adizero Boston 12 has a lot in the heel... about 36mm and 30mm in front (something like that if I'm not mistaken). If you want them for running, here you can see when I put them on my feet the difference in height (Ep133 18:43). You can slow down the video if you need to.
my feet size are 27cm and i have ordered 42.5. idk but i don't think they originally have this size do you think it will fit me? my feet are narrow and 27 cm long. i think i have made a mistake after watching this they normallly have 42 2/3 which is 26.3 long. it def means its small for me😞😞
I wouldn't worry too much just by checking the size guide that is on their webpage.
Adidas galaxy 6 or new balance 411?
Depends of your needs:
- Softer and more "fragile" = NB.
- Little bit firmer midsole and actually a rubber outsole that inspire Safety & Durability = Adidas.
NB = Indoors
Adidas = Outside (asphalt use)
I hope this comment answered your question. If not, let me know without any hesitation.
@@EasyLifeES thank u sir, i choose galaxy 6. Greetings from Asia 🙏
Yeah, sure. You're welcome!
Galaxy's are a better buy IMO.

Compared to reebok energen run 3, which one is more recommended for 5k?
Hi there,
I haven't tried "reebok energen run 3".
Good and honest review
Thank you for watching it!
Galaxy 6 or response?
Response - without any hesitation.
Better in absolutely every way.
So should I get a half size up I have average feet size 9?
They are True To Size in Adidas for me. I didn't seen any reason to size up with these ones so... I guess it's up to you.
I would even say that they have more space in toebox than other Adidas running sneakers. They are Adidas models were going size up is crucial but here... I don't see why, if you already know well your size in Adidas.
Galaxy 6 or questar for daily running 5-8km per day
From those 2, the Questar 2 will be my choice only if you don't like Adidas Response that is a bit more "complete" IMO.
@@EasyLifeES appreciate you bro! Do u think the questar 2 will last me a good time. Im planning to use it on my everyday run 5-8km
Hard to say... The outsole isn't the thinnest I've seen, so in theory it should last.
Although, why not going for Adidas Response?!
Those are even better made. Those sneakers are inexpensive and more "complete" to me.
@@EasyLifeES because they are on sale. I dont have my size in the response
Adidas galaxy 6 vs Ford fwd vs Ford fit pls 🙏🏻
The "Ford" models we don't have them yet here (in Spain) available.
@@EasyLifeES ok man 😞👍🏻
@@onikparwar335 For now... is no other way.
these or adidas duramo speed?
Everything for ME is better than Duramo Speed.
Those "Speed" have serious "comfort issues", so I can't recommend those even for 1/4 of the price, or less. Those Speed should be avoided by anyone...
@@EasyLifeES why is the duramo speed pricier than these
@@cuanokingstephenict12b63 In theory that Duramo Speed is a better shoe for longer runs.
@@EasyLifeES appreciate it!
