The additional foam on the underfoot makes it feel like a more well-balanced shoe, compared to the recent previous versions (21-23/Light) where the heel was massively stacked compared to the forefoot area.
I recently acquired a pair of these shoes and absolutely love the comfortable feeling they provide. They are perfect for enjoying a leisurely or moderate pace, making you feel more connected to the ground as you run. I truly appreciate the experience of running in them, and I believe they are also beneficial for the joints. I hope they last at least 500 kilometers!
Pretty pumped for this shoe. Adidas always fit my foot so well. Light boost seems like a good daily trainer now. But waiting for those crazy adidas sales. This shoe will be $120 in no time !
this would be a nice travel shoe that you can run easy around with in a new city exploring. will wait for the new mono color ways. i really dont like traveling in the running shoe look like hokas, asics, etc.
Why is it the 5, though? There have been a bunch of versions of UB. Same with SL, too, I guess (just not as many versions). And do any of you remember Litestrike (not to be confused with Lightstrike)? I ran my half PB in the super budget Lite Pacer 2. Okay, enough rambling. Nice review guys!
Great review! Always appreciate your brevity and fun in the review, was curious since you mentioned it at least twice, if you'll do a review of the saucony triumph 22?
I thought that the 5X had something like flywires to help the lockdown in the middle foot. Is the 5 more stable when cornering vs the 5x ? The lower lightweight of the 5X os very tempting, but if it lacks stability...
don t forget about quality, compared to Nike Inv 1 or 3 it is in another league (I have the Nikes and all the UB starting with 1, 19, 20, 21,22... hopefully the 5x is the same category...I m getting it in a couple of days). I forgot about the Asics....very good quality also. I still can not get around the hype around Nike... Air Jordans are as comfortable as military boots and the running shoes are all falling apart after a 100-150 km.
My winter ultraboosts upper wornout in 5 months. Adidas have bad product warranty, only 6 months for all from buy day, and you need to return defective item to Adidas even if you send to them photo and all information they ask. No refund for me from Adidas. I hope my ultraboosts light don't die as fast as winter ultraboosts.
Lifestyle show? If it is it's over very expensive one. Costs b$60 CAD more than a Nike Peggy 41.... Might as well save some coin and buy a trainer and use it as a lifestyle show hehe

I think Adidas UB 5 is a step forward for innovation for the Daily Runner 🏃♂️ 🏃🏻♀️

"Above the bridge and not under" 😅 Thomas couldn't help it, and he's gonna get from Meg 😅
Hi everyone. Zero interest in this shoes, but Like to Thomas and Robbe. I prefer the Adidas SL 2. Happy friday.
Best shoes ever for everyday !
How would it do for strength training?

I have the nike invincible run 3s and I will say they are insanely comfortable and a great running shoe. Do you like them?
39mm/29mm is correct according to Adidas website (UK). You were right guys.
Interesting. Both Adidas USA and Running Warehouse have 38/28. Appreciate your finding! -Karl
Just bought the 5x in size 8.5US and weighed it to be 280grams.
Just got this on the last 8.8 sale for $120

Oh, where did Robbe get his Sydney Olympics 2000 shirt?. Were you there?. I’m from Australia 👍
Was not there, but Abercrombie & Fitch licensed the Olympic designs and did a re-release this year leading up to the Olympics
Best comfort choas
Adidas have always been the opposite of ‘footshaped’ for me. The kinda hoof shaped last they use really hurts my big toe joint.
Not only yours. You just need a shoe-shaped foot to appreciate the fit. These guys got it.
The couch is comfy for the week
This or Pegasus plus?
I tried both .. I liked ultraboost 5
Pegasus is Comfortable it bouncy I did order all the ultra boost 5x and all supernova in different color
The price def not a green
