They seem excited and willing to do in children. Children see this work as a fun and beautiful game. It looks great with a beautiful fitting on the patio post of the house. I watched with admiration. This is amazing! I wish more parents were like you, many of the students I teach have never used tools before and are scared of using basic tools. Great job!
AWESOMENESS Maybe a suggestion to put a smile dowel under entrance some birds like to perch before entering. I know a certain Nana that would love one😉
Jane Lee Chickadees apparently don’t need a perch because the birdhouse experts at nestwatch.org suggest not having the dowel. We do have some extra material, though, and the helpers are very excited to build something else after watching their video! Stay tuned!
Your girls were doing a good job with the hand saw,but I know they were happy to be able to use the power tools.They did a great job,they should be very proud of their work.
