Ingredients
- 4 medium yellow onions (1.5 lbs, 700g)
- 1 tb oil
- 3 tbsp un-salted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 sugar
- 3 tbsp AP flour
- 1800 ml beef broth (2 qts)
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 8 slices french baguette
- 50g sliced Swiss cheese (2oz)
- 2 cups of Swiss cheese (180g)

French onion soup is actually one of my favorite soups. But so is Thai coconut chicken soup. There’s just too many yummy soups in this world!
It changes with the season, but atm White Bean Cauliflower soup! Love your vids!
I like bisque soups, beef barley, split pea with ham and potatoes.. to name a few.

Nice work, LookCatchu, I like all kinds of soup but also love caramelised onion in all sorts of recipes besides soup. This was great, I love the JC inspired show. This is one of me top 5 Soups. We usually pour the soup, croutons and cheese in specialty bowls and broil them individually. Your prononciation in French is remarkable and for this reason, I imagine you speak French too. Or should I say: J'imagine que tu parles très bien Français.

Hi Catherine ❤ french onion soup is so good. Yours looks professional but french cheese is better than Swiss cheese for some reason. I always eat Beaufort Chalet d'Alpage made high in the French Alps during the summer months, so good
You should be able to find it at a raw cheese shop at the market, also I can't juggle too 😂
