This includes massive comebacks and miraculous come from behind victories in which a team scored multiple touchdowns with little time remaining. Watch all 26 minutes to relieve some of the most exciting moments in college football history including Baylor's crazy 21 point fourth quarter comeback against TCU in 2014 and the famous "Chicken Soup Game," in which Notre Dame's Joe Montana led a 22 point comeback against Houston in the 1979 Cotton Bowl Classic. Crazy how Baylor had a massive comeback vs TCU and then in their bowl game the same year MSU had a massive comeback against them.
I get what you are saying.
That said, Baylor's special teams were just terrible and it wasn't unexpected for them to implode. They missed 2 FGs, had one blocked because the kicker moved the ball up 4 feet and they were totally unprepared for an onside kick by MSU. Throw in some egregious missed holding calls by the refs (MSU offensive line) during their game winning drive and it all became possible.
61-58 was my freshman year, and I will never forget the atmosphere in that stadium.
I was like 7. But I remember ever part of that game
I was there when I was in 5th grade. It was the best experience of my life without a doubt, but that one game is what started Tcu fans to get all salty towards baylor to this day 😂
@@blgchengus ong tho. But to be fair, for some reason TCU seems to have been our kryptonite these last few seasons. Hopefully we pull it together and whoop them at Mclane this year

I was at that Baylor TCU game in Waco on ESPN. I was in the army and they gave my unit free tickets. Managed to end up sitting right behind Britney Griner and watched RG3 put on one of the greatest performances ever

I was at that OU Texas game, the atmosphere is always peak college football every year there, but wow…. experiencing that game first-hand has to be the single greatest sports atmosphere I’ve ever been in person for. And of course, BOOMER!!!

MSU sure liked to scare us fans during the Mark Dantonio era. We had so many comeback victories it almost seemed like a common occurrence.

I listened to the OU TX game at a wedding and had to keep my emotions in check for one of the greatest games I’ve ever heard… it was a roller coaster of emotions.

OU alum here. Gotta say I prefer watching the 2010-2016 era Baylor teams - they could score at will and the only thing holding them back from 2012-2015 was themselves.

Is there a part 3?? Great video!! Should add in there 2007 Memphis at Arkansas State. ASU came back from 31-6 from halftime. I still think it’s the biggest comeback in school history and to make it better I was in the stands that night!
1974: USC/ND - ND up 24-6 at half - all ND all the time in the 1st. Anthony Davis takes the opening 2nd half kickoff to the house, and the rout was on! Unbelievable!...and I was a ND fan!

The WVU vs Louisville game was the start of my love for not only WVU but for college football I remember telling my dad we wouldn’t win the game and then had back up Pat white come in and not only win the game but start something that was special which was the pat white era in wvu

As an SEC fan, seeing a high scoring game live like that in the early 2010s was so weird. I was used to games like Alabama vs LSU with final scores like 21-17 or 9-6
My how times have changed. Now BU D is stingy as hell but offense cant score 40+ regularly. Been years since weve had a qb and receiver pairing like 7 years ago. Def miss the deadly synchronization of Coco, petty, russel, etc.

OU alum here. Having seen plenty of Baylor games over the years, I gotta say I preferred watching their 2010-2016 style attack vs what they do now.
If they had ever shored up their terrible special teams units (that's right, I didn't say defense), they would have gone undefeated 2 years straight.
Never give up. If there is still time on the clock, you need to be playing to win, even if you are down 20 or 30 points
The Marshall East Carolina game was just the second time those 2 teams met since the plane crash that killed 75. The Notre Dame Houston game came after a really bad ice storm hit Dallas.

This OU - Texas game was the greatest comeback that I’ve ever seen given the situation, the QB play (from both), the atmosphere, just everything a great college game ought to be about.
Plus the fact that the Texas fans were already putting it in the W column.
I never got so tired of hearing “Sark has this team back to the big time” by the tv announcers. And “Texas is pouring it on”.
The season for Texas was kind of defined by this game. I mean a few games later they lost at home - to Kansas lol.

TCU v Baylor still haunts me, if Baylor don’t come back, TCU go undefeated and likely make the CFB playoff. And seeing what they did to Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl who knows what could’ve happened. Damn.
