It was very mild. In some ports, you probably could get away with shorts! In the fjords and in the mountains, expect typical winter type weather and temperatures!
I saw go carts. Is there an extra fee for those? Or is it included? Never been on any Norwegian ships. Have always cruised RCL. Why this line over RCL? We will be going on an Alaskan cruise in 2022. Trying to decide what month to go (for the cheapest balcony price). Always have an inside cabin but since we are celebrating our 25th anniversary, I want a balcony.
LadyJoy A If I really wanted to, I could have worn shorts on Juneau and Skagway days. At one point, it hit close to 80°. June/July has the best weather in Alaska. It’s only really cold around the glacier and when the ship navigates through the fjord.

Eric Benigno Alaska was wonderful. Temp varied from 30° to 60°. Was lovely. Our CD was Jodie, a Mandy Jones look and sound alike! I was on the Escape last week to. Only 9 hours home in between Seattle and the Escape 😂 I’ll be back on 6/23, then the dawn 7/13.
Robbie O'Malley sounds awesome! I don’t know Jodie but the look a like must’ve been funny. Where’s Dan Dan these days? I thought he was headed to Joy? I hate not having one booked! We’ve just been so busy working and wedding planning it’s been tough. I need one more cruise pretty much for platinum plus! I’m sure you’re a damn ambassador already lol. Say hi to Alvin for me. My dad didn’t see Alvin until the last day! I was like wth haha but at least he recognized him. My friend just sailed Dawn a few weeks ago. Can’t wait to see the details on your camera. Super clear
@@nygrasshole Dan Dan left on the day I boarded Joy for vacation. He's great too. Saw Alvin last week, as it's always wonderful to see him. Book that cruise and get that Plat. Plus! I was on Dawn in May, can't wait to get back... beautiful ship since the reno! Hope to see you on a cruise soon and hopefully get to catch up more.

Yes -- There is an extra charge for the Karts. $10 pp roughly. June/July are the two best months for Alaska Travel.. stay in that timeframe. Enjoy!!
Taking an Alaskan cruise is on my bucketlist even though I can't stand the cold..this was June and still cold. .does Alaska ever have nice weather?

What tour was that in Ketchikan with all the eagles?
Bering Sea Crab and Fisherman's Tour. You can book on your own or through the cruise line. It was one of the best excursions I've ever done.
We are looking at this. Did you see any whales or bears?
Yes! Lots of whales. Not too many bears, but bring binoculars! They're usually along the coast!
