How was the balcony with the slide?

Hi! Thank you for the video. I will be sailing in this exact room and am concerned about the obstructed balcony. I'm also a bit disappointed at the room size, considering what they charge for it. Did you like the room?

That is amazing. A room like that would tempt me to stay on the ship and skip all of the ports.

As a handicap person I was nervous about this trip, for what I do not know. The engineer came with a wheelchair and met me at the bus and rolled me to the boat, they were outstanding in being accessible and accommodating to handicap needs. Whatever it takes for them to share the experience with people they do. Thank you again, crew of the Aleutian Ballad, for an outstanding trip. PS. It was more difficult to board the NCL Encore than the Aleutian Ballad.

I LOOOOOVE the Haven, but it is quite expensive. Since I have now been spoiled, I always book the Haven because of all the amenities. While I don't agree with those who say they would book the Haven solely for the embarkation/quiet/less stress aspects, I book it for ALL the things the Haven includes, Ie, restaurant, private pool, observation lounge, etc. Frankly, I get excited just watching this video of others boarding through the Haven process.

Our Norwegian Encore will cruise thru Glacier bay so is this Endicott Arm excursion worth doing especially since we will miss seeing Juneau altogether. And then i see you were not dropped off from the excursion in Juneau, so where is this Encore ship sitting for you to get back on. Is the water that green as in the video

You would think Bermuda would be the last place to watch pier runners, ships stay there 2-3 days. Those are just silly people!

I’ll be cruising on NCL Joy this March ‘23 out of Miami and we will be in 17720! Too bad you didn’t peek the camera over the side deck partition (taboo) as I’m wanting to see our large balcony for the 2-bedroom cabin looks like! Question you may be able to answer, I noticed my cabin is adjacent the Haven Lounge and there’s a swinging door to enter/exit…was that door soft close? On other videos I’ve researched it appears those types of doors kinda closed noisily with clanking thuds. Concerned for the light sleepers that will be sleeping on that hallway wall. Thanks for sharing your videos and helpful info.

Thank you for showing. Looove Norwegian but it’s a small 2BR, 2nd bedroom is actually just a room and that tiny balcony is unfortunate. They charge a lot and a 2BRshould have 2BR and spacious balcony. Royal oasis has a luxurious 2B2B suite that’s a dream. Thanks for sharing because I love Norweign and almost booked this room.
