- The ALL NEW Great Stirrup Cay has arrived! I'm so pleased and excited to show you around my Lagoon Villa at the all new Silver Cove on Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian Cruise Line's Private Island! This is a phenomenal area for families, couples and friends who just like to hang out! There is a private restaurant, Spa and Lagoon just for the use of those staying at Silver Cove. These villas are air conditioned, have a full private bathroom, patio, living room, TV with hundreds of free movies, a private beach area with 4-6 loungers, complimentary bottled water and fruit... and way more!

Reel Focus Yes it was. It’s a great area that I’m sure will be sold out for most Sailings! Plus - we had two ships there the day we were there; Bliss and Sun. So it was totally booked for sure.
What is on the back side of the villa. Just vegetation?
For now, yes. It's also a walkway which is how you initially enter the villa. You have a good view of Coco Cay from the backside of the island.
Robbie O'Malley thank you for your response. I booked a 1 BR Villa last night. That’s all that was left I guess because it was my only option at $499. They don’t even say it’s a 1 BR though. I just guessed because a few weeks ago there was a 2nd option at $599. It’s weird the website doesn’t tell you if it’s a studio, 1 BR or 2 BR.
Hi Robbie, I was told there is a seperate area for guest staying in the Haven on the ship. Is this true? I was told it's not in the villa area.
There always was right off the tender for the regular beach. Otherwise, Silver Cove isn't a Haven Area, but instead an area for anyone who books into it! :)
Is Silver Cove so far away from the main area that you cannot walk back to check out the bars, local market area and open beach area? Does transportation run continuously back and forth throughout the day? We are traveling with our kids that are early 20s and may want to go where there is a bit more going on. I want the luxury of the villa and the private beach but still want to be able to check out and explore the rest of the cay as well...that is, if it is worth doing or much to see?
You cannot walk to and from it, but there is constant transportation back and fourth from the main part of the island to the secluded Silver Cove. Just need to show your wristband.
Hi Robbie, great video! We just booked a 'villa' for next month. When you were there, you said there were 2 ships in, was it busy at Silver Cove? Any problems getting loungers down by the water? We are in with the Sky and Breakaway so I expect it could be. I have also seen reference to Ocean Villas (I think it was in NCL video), so that must be a separate area, do you know?
Also, can you let me know if they provide bar service for the villas, and how far it is to the restaurant. There are five of us including my Mom who is 87 and we just want to be prepared to be able to get her around and enjoy the day as easy as possible. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! And again, your video was great!
It's capacity controlled at Silver Cove so no matter how many ships are in, there will always be the same amount at the cove. It was not crowded at all, and on my sailing every villa was sold. Each villa has private reserved loungers down by the lagoon, so no worries there. The Ocean Villas are in a different area, and do not have access to the Lagoon, but instead, access to the Ocean, hence the name.
The Lagoon Studio Villas are the furthest away from the restaurant. You have to walk around the lagoon to the direct opposite side for the restaurant. The closest would be the 1-2 Bedroom villas as it's a short walk. There is a Moet Bar in the middle of the two sections of villas, and yes, they do come around and serve drinks.
