I know families get excited but it's overwhelming enough for the lesson, let alone having you pulled in every direction to look at things. Let them take it in for themselves first!!! But I love people's reactions tho when they see colour. It's so beautiful.
Lucy was my big girl... my dog... the love of my Life... my best friend... she left me last summer... Been sobbing ever since... She was white, not red... 😞😢💔🐕💔
I cant imagine not seeing the deep blue sky.. or sea.... or grass... or flowers. Never really seen a sunrise or sunset? I find these vids a perfect reminder to enjoy the beauty we are immersed in. Nature. Its spent billions of years to become the perfection it is. Life.
My response when watching you all is ... tears in my eyes .. I am now in the early 50s, I found my son was color blind when he was 7 years old ... now he is 26 years old... Likewise, I still can't afford to buy him a pair of color blind glasses until now, when I had an accident in 2011 and finally lost my job in 2013 ... I am happy for all of you .... may God bless you all ..... take care of your health ...
Such an amazing gift. Bless you. I want sooo much to get these for my wife. She is 26 and hasn't seen color since she was 10. I want so much for her to see ME! The color of my hair, my eyes and clothes. Maybe one day. We have a big family 6 kids plus my wife and I. So lots of money for them lol. But your an amazing person for this gift to give.
The families are always overly excited. A lot of times I watch these videos in the family is rushing and talking over each other and it’s a little bit chaotic. I wish they would just let the person they’re giving this wonderful gift to to just absorb it and stop pushing them to see everything all at one time. Just my two cents
I agree I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole of these kinds of videos and the best ones are usually when it’s just one or two people sharing the experience with them. A lot of times people are laughing at the reactions which I think is totally inappropriate. I can only imagine the emotion these color blind people are feeling seeing these colors for the first time.
Yes! They must tell them to expect to be emotional. Or warm them what it will look like. It can be overwhelming for sure. But the sheer amount of these videos makes some of them even seem staged. I'm sire they are great. But I disnt know color blindness was such an issue. Then again, maybe it wasn't until they made corrective lenses for it. I'm sire regular glasses were met with the same shock and aww that these are. Also why always the sun glasses? No one gets the others?
0:16 - _"And you can see colors a little bit better"_ No, not better ... 1trillion times better and "new" colors too!! It's like living in a new world FULL OF LIFE for colorblind people!
The only thing that would make these kinds of videos better, would be if they just passed them off as regular sunglasses, and just waited for the reaction.
Nothing special. My iPhone 6 got the same quality and fps. What makes it *a bit* special tho is someone for once uploaded in landscape mode and not portrait.
My dad has red/green color blindness. My sister and I both have red hair and it never occurred to me that he’s probably never seen what it really looks like!
hint for these videos: just film them putting on the glasses and the least family involvement and questions the better. Just let the person experience it and answer questions.
@@clurkroberts2650 it's not fun to watch, it makes the famaily look selfish and uncaring them talking or asking 100 questions to a guy having his life changed by a scientific breakthrough.
Jaden Pelate not at all. The family was happy and engaged. Not selfish. The idea that they’re supposed to silently stand by, observe and watch his reactions is ... creepy. I know I’d feel uncomfortable if I was him. This was a happy and excited family. They obviously care, love and share in the grandfathers excitement.
I hate the: "What do you see?" Colors you dipshit. Colors they haven't seen before. Let their brains process it. Color is such a basic part of our every day that having having a whole new color to process would be both amazing and unnerving. Your brain would be racing trying to figure out everything else you've seen that should be this new color, and trying to associate it with the word.
Ive watched at least 10 of these Encrhoma glasses video's and I can recall at least 3 of them said "Holy Cow" for their first reaction.... Cows are holy... i mean magic mushrooms grow out their shit for damns sake :p
I'm pretty sure we'd all do that if we could see new colours and were trying to spot the difference. I know I did that when I got my glasses and tried to read at a distance lol
Imagine being red head when south park came out with an episode of "gingers" high school was brutal so im glad someone can see orange heads as something awesome.
Most people see red-heads as awesome and lots of people are jealous of red hair! I'm sorry you had an awful high school experience. Don't forget that public (and even private) high school is brutal for everyone no matter what they look like and that immature kids will always find something stupid to tease people about. We love our redheads!!
I am an African-American Art professor. One of my classes is "Color Theory", which examines how color affects our life and perceptions and how to create them and use them for the most satisfying results ( only red, yellow, and blue cannot not be made, but all other colors come from them). When the grandfather joked "I'll finally be able to see what color you are", I laughed. The grandson said "white". I don't think your grandfather meant that. He's old and wise enough to know about skin tones. I think he merely meant what undertone since colorblind people seem to be surprised that everyone, including Caucasians, are "colored" in many ways (pale, reddish, olive, etc.). The skin is usually are seen as flat white. I'd like to line up about 10 Afro-Amers with different skin tones in front of him and watch his reaction when he sees the various color ranges. That will really blow his mind!! I do think that nature is the best way to introduce people to this colorful world because they can see the different natural gradations of a color base. Then perhaps pure colors of the balloons. I am happy that you can finally "see" and hope you have many more exciting, color filled days. Now take an art class!
I love how absolutely amused he seemed at seeing how red his granddaughter's hair is.
His entire life he has nit been able to even imagine that color. Everything either looks like mud or bland blue.
@@someweirdoguy6633 I'm aware

I love how he was amazed by her hair color. It was such a bright color for him to see for the first time.🙂
Try to imagine a new colour, now imagine someone gave you glasses that showed you new colours... I can't even imagine how it must feel like.
TurtleBurger Glasses to see other Dimensions!

Well actually it’s impossible to imagine a new color.🙂

It is such a blessing to watch someone see color for the first time. We all need to be grateful for the gift of color.
Shut up with all the damn questions, and just let the man enjoy the experience!
Now I know what it means....
"I see your true color shining through" ...
