Imagine Centuries ago, Those who are colorblind be thinking: "What I could sacrifice just to have a glimpse of your colorful world" and luckily in our generation, science was able to create these magnificent Glasses. It is like these people's portal to a whole new world, to a colorful world, Thank God for the Scientists behind this invention, others may say 500$ is too much price for it, but im pretty sure they've also sacrificed so much time to create this gift, what is that value for a chance to see the world in full colors, Imagine if everyone in the family chips in to buy a pair of these glasses to be given to an unfortunate family member. Im really emotional watching these videos, it makes me realize the things that have been taken for granted, and that is our colorful nature/world.
Omg these people.. Let them soak it all in.. Its an overwhelming experience for them. Just shut up, take your kids away and let them have their moment.
that last one was tough. i couldnt imagine too many gifts that could compare to giving someone color for the first time ever. one of the most epic gifts you could ever get someone.
That clip where he was in the fish store... Purely beautiful. Fish are beautiful creatures and for him to find beauty in them colorblind.. I find that fascinating.
Hats off to Don McPherson, the inventor of these glasses. He was trying to make laser safety glasses for surgeons, and well, invented something with an alternative use.
yeah its associated with male because male only has 1 x chromosome (XY), so if they get only one recessive gene it will expressed..for female since they have 2 x chromosomes (XX), they need to inherit 2 recessive colour blind gene to get express..thats why its so rare in female..
I noticed that too! I wondered if maybe it had to do with women being a little more intuitive and thinking to do something like this (and video tape it) than men might be.
Amber Dickerson lol no, what an odd thing to say. Colour blindness is a sex linked genetic condition. Women require it on both X chromosomes for its expression, males need the genetic abnormality on their sole X chromosome. Results in 100x more often in males
What kind of blindness prevents you from seeing females? Are there glasses for that too? Now I am crying for you! Must have been great to see your mother for the first time, did you think you had two dads or could you not see her at all? Oh technology is just wicked wonderful, isn't it? *sobbing*
When I was watching these clips about people hearing voices or seeing colors for the first time, I was thinking that we, who could see colors and enjoy them or could hear and talk are not grateful and instead we always think about stupid things we don't have.
Seen lots of these videos and they are usually so overwhelmed they dont hear other people asking them questions and often they hold on to someone or something as if to ground themselves..can't imagine how they must feel!
Heartbeat sound gave me a headache thanks. Love the ending though. Meema he can see colors now, Meema: is that so? Yeah he can see colors now for the first time in his life. Meema: well good. Lololol
The lady at 3 min saying "there's so much color" to a field of...green. But when you've spent your life seeing that many different shades and hues as ONE color I suppose it would look pretty spectacular.
imagine being old, thinking there's nothing new left in this world they havent experienced, and ready to retire and accept death. And let there be color. :')
sometimes it does not seem to work then they burst into tears ... I would probably do it too if I think for how many years I have not seen the colors..oh..im colorblind...
the ones with men are the best because we are raised our entire life to think that we are not allowed to cry, we are not allowed to show emotion. we have to bottle everything up inside and if we show any emotion we are considered weak. I wish more than anything that this stigma would change because it is so damaging to society
Y’all too ignorant to just ignore the sound and watch the video, get over yourselves. Plus if someone already mentioned it then he’s bound to stop, doesn’t need the entire planet ragging on it. At Ieast they took the time to put this beautiful compilation together for us. I hate coming to he comments to see everyone’s opinion of these life changing experiences and then it’s all negative lol.
I agree, heartbeat sound is awful.
Get outta here with that heartbeat sound
disliked the video just for that bs
It ruins the video. So bloody annoying and unnecessary. Stopped watching because of it. 😡🤬🤬
HEARTBEAT SOUNDS ARE RIDICULOUS. WHY WHY WHY
Because they feel they have to add something to all the videos they stole from other people.
Heart beat is weird and not necessary
@ShariSez1 How about you shove the x? More than half the video is what they say.
THAT HEART BEAT IS REALLY IRRITATING
plz... never ever the hearbeat sound... worst edit ever...
Joel Larsson 5
Actually I skipped the video cause of it.
I stopped watching because of it
Thank you, shit gave me really bad anxiety
I thought it was me, I was about ready to head to the hospital.
The older man at the end was beautiful to see. To go his whole life without color & to see finally after 70yrs is just amazing in every way.
I can ignore the corny music, but that heartbeat sound is so abrupt it ruins the moment. Still like these videos though.
I hate the music overlays. It's usually too loud and you have to struggle to hear what the people are saying. I want to hear every sigh and sob.
Agreed, this would work better without the heartbeat sound effect. At some points, it's blocking out what's being said in the film clips.
I watch these not to cry...
I watch these to remember to be grateful.....
I hate heartbeat sounds.
Sappy heartbeat sound, ruins video.
Such a blessing and they come in so many styles. How wonderful.
That heartbeat sound is so annoying I had to stop this video in the middle!
@ShariSez1 fuck off.
ShariSez1) what does “the X” mean?
The Jumanji drums are SO ANNOYING!
Everybody be calling them heartbeat sounds but you good sir, you be calling them Jumanji drums
This never gets old to me. So glad for these people.
I loooooove the heartbeat sound! Sooooooo amazing....no seriously it made me throw up like crazy!
The woman was so overwhelmed and thankful. So lovely. :)
How to kill the moment, by person who doesn't understand how to induce emotion.
It was easy not to cry with the ♥ beat effect.

I literally felt like my heart was about to stop at any moment in this video
It's so moving..."these fish are ridiculous"--I can only imagine. I am so thrilled for these folk.
That last guy was just precious!
Oh that nice audio, reminds me of back in January, when I was in a Spanish Hospital with a heart attack, thank you so much!
Omg these people.. Let them soak it all in.. Its an overwhelming experience for them. Just shut up, take your kids away and let them have their moment.
Right? In some of these clips it's almost like it's all about them, and not about their friend or family member seeing colours for the first time.
Pretty sure they made the occasion for their family not for a hyper-needy RUclips audience. Christ why does this even need explaining?
What color is this?? How about this?? Look at your shirt!! Is it working is it working it working is it working is it working???????
I’m watching this while wearing my glasses. Truest amazing
why ruin it with the heartbeat sound? the videos are awesome enough on their own.
that last one was tough. i couldnt imagine too many gifts that could compare to giving someone color for the first time ever. one of the most epic gifts you could ever get someone.
It’s the old farts that always get me. Imagine living 50+ years and then getting something that new
I'm going to say that every spring now..."OH MY GOD THE GRASS IS GREEN!"
awh that mother instinct kicking in at the end was so heart warming 😁
these heartbeat is getting on my nerve ...
I’ve failed all these challenges! Lol whoooo....talk about priceless moments! Lol
I think they now know that heartbeat is not a good sound 😂
Somebody give the last guy a hug!!
bradc002 I lost it one him too...never too late to see the beauty around him. This video is heartwarming.
If i was color blind and i got to wear those glasses
It would be the happiest day of my life
wtf is with the heartbeat !
This broke me down in tears. The old man.....
I love that old man trying to be tough and composed.
This just makes me appreciate life and the blessed things i have and other dont
the heart beating effect made this easy
In the last video, you could tell the older woman was out of it but she seen him crying and started rubbing his back.. omg I could cry
That clip where he was in the fish store... Purely beautiful. Fish are beautiful creatures and for him to find beauty in them colorblind.. I find that fascinating.
If your heart beat sounds like this, I’d be racing in to see a doctor if I was you
Always love your family💟
inventor deserve nobel prize
never gonna lose those glasses are ya lol.congrats everyone, enjoy the world.
The most beautiful color they witness after wearing the glasses is the color of peoples caring.👍🏻
Hats off to Don McPherson, the inventor of these glasses. He was trying to make laser safety glasses for surgeons, and well, invented something with an alternative use.
That's ythe first female I've seen
I think color blindness is almost always associated with the Y (male) instead of the X (female)chromosomes

Spain. Gracias por emitir estos videos, ves la faceta mas tierna del ser humano.
Seen lots of these videos and they are usually so overwhelmed they dont hear other people asking them questions and often they hold on to someone or something as if to ground themselves..can't imagine how they must feel!
What a wondelful world so colourful... but we dont realized sometimes...
Thank God...
alhamdulillah hirabilalameen
Guys...that was great but I gotta tell ya...I could of used more heartbeat!
I'll never get over how people are more emotional to see color than they are to first hear after being deaf.......
DUG DUG DUG DUG DUG DUG...NICE HEARTBEAT I LOVE IT.
Dang every time I heard the heartbeat sound I got anxiety bad
Heartbeat sound gave me a headache thanks. Love the ending though.
Meema he can see colors now,
Meema: is that so?
Yeah he can see colors now for the first time in his life.
Meema: well good.
Lololol
This was the comment I was looking for. Absolutely hilarious! Lmao
right when they put the glasses on there like a sound that makes it feel like I am in a golf game on the game cube
I cried! first time I ever cried!
Heartwarming
This is sooo sad I never realized This is why we should be grateful for the little things in life ....
the smiles and the cries are epic
That heartbeats is a lot of stress
Next step: Enchroma contact lenses :)
Even if it is a good thing. Watching a man cry breaks my heart. I can't take it sometimes.
The lady at 3 min saying "there's so much color" to a field of...green.
But when you've spent your life seeing that many different shades and hues as ONE color I suppose it would look pretty spectacular.
This is a scam
Omg, the last one....!
imagine being old, thinking there's nothing new left in this world they havent experienced, and ready to retire and accept death.
And let there be color. :')
Thanks for the technology
increible hombre
Me: Puts on the glasses. Looks at wife. Looks at kids. "Why are my kids black?"
It's not always a happy ending people.
You forgot: "Why am I black?!" ;)
Ho ho ho ho ho ho, Like your Eddie Murphy's humor.
Thank you for the vid. :))
4:20 Grandma cover with bows ☠️🤣☠️🤣☠️
They should give a Nobel prize to who ever invented these glasses
If you can watch these and NOT cry, you're a much stronger person than I.
sometimes it does not seem to work then they burst into tears ... I would probably do it too if I think for how many years I have not seen the colors..oh..im colorblind...
OMG !!!! 1:00 !!!! DEFIB DEFIB........You're heart stopped!!!!!
Wowowo 👍

What's the name of this "effect/song"?
“Welcome to the real world”
2:37 Me partió el corazón.
Awww MahMaw!!
When you discover new sound in editing program doesnt mean you have to use it in your next video when you editing it .....
the glasses were proven right? their vision is directly normal by wearing those glasses or how?
As a person with anxiety....i had to turn off sound, heart beat made me anxouse!
wow one colorblind woman
ANd then they have a heart attack
It’s funny that people don’t think of people who don’t see color as blind.
Y’all too ignorant to just ignore the sound and watch the video, get over yourselves. Plus if someone already mentioned it then he’s bound to stop, doesn’t need the entire planet ragging on it. I really wish the families would let them have their moment without trying to overwhelm them with balloons and what do you see what do you see?
Is encroma for parsial?
2:32 its rare to see a women color blind
dislike for heartbeat
