Baker Mayfield. Cut on Monday, signed by the Rams and arrived on Tuesday. Won the game with a 98 yard drive less than 48 hours after arriving with a new team, new coaches and new teammates. WOW is the only word I have for that last drive.

I'm a Steelers fan, and I'm SOO happy for Baker. That dude has so much heart, he deserves this.

I'm a lifelong Browns fan and I can't tell u how happy I am for Baker. His confidence has been shot since last year. He needed this so badly!!! Hopefully he can put a few of these together and land himself a starting job somewhere.

I haven't heard anyone use the name Snicklefritz since my dad, who passed in 2008. I'm a lifelong Rams fan, since 1969, and I wouldn't mind seeing Baker stay with the Rams because as much as I love Mathew Stafford, he's not going to be around forever. Next season will be number 15 for him and for the average QB, that isn't named Brady,🤮, that's getting up there!

This makes me so happy. I'm a Cardinals fan so I don't really have a stake in this, but I feel Baker has been the brunt of the ugly side of the NFL his entire career and it's damaged his soul. Yes he's underperformed and not been consistent, but I've always rooted for him. So good so see a win for him considering everything that's gone down. Amazing comeback, so fun to watch. I loved to see the Rams celebrate with him and have his back. I hope he can continue to have success.

Very nice comeback, but helped by a pass interference call (pretty legit) and a horrendous Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty by the most undisciplined team in sport (knocking the ball out of a guy's hands way after the whistle has blown? WHY???". Just give them an extra time out and 15 yards!! Against almost any other team, Baker would have tried hard and failed. But the Raiders specialize in blowing games and doing the dumbest things possible at the worst possible times, so good for Baker, haha.

I really hope that Baker makes it work out in the NFL. This was a career highlight no doubt.
He needs a true talent as a coach via mcvay, who's open minded and pure football, also with that LA passing style it should suit backers playing style very well. This dudes been dragged through the mud. One thing I see from baker is his incredible learning speed on picking up offenses at the nfl level, like photographic memory fast. He's a dog and he has that drive to win. That's what you want to see. I think mcvay will resurrect him and get him confident again.

Baker showed us what real perseverence looks like tonight. Been a fan of his since he was at Oklahoma, even got to see him and the Sooners at Baylor. He's had a hell of a road these last few years, but this game right here proves that he's still got what it takes. What he pulled off tonight is nothing short of a miracle, and I hope he keeps up this momentum, and he continues to perform for years to come.

We didn't do him dirty. He didn't fit the bill. I still love Baker. Hope he does well. I'm happy he did well this game. He does shine. But he isn't consistent.
He is still iffy when it comes to his accuracy. And he is slow on his feet.

Like let's break this down baker was on a plane Tuesday on his way to LA learned the playbook on the plane probably had a walkthrough yesterday and literally went 98 yds with under 2 min to run the no huddle and know the hand signals to drive down to win the game with 9 seconds left is absolutely incredible I'm so happy for baker

Rams fan here since 1980 and my favorite year as a Rams fan was 2000 with Kurt Warner coming in as a nobody , Kurt Brought that excitement to an already great team that included Tory Holt , Az Hakim , Ricky Proehl , Issac Bruce and Marshall Faulk . Last year the Rams won the Superbowl but somehow it was not exciting , it was not the same as the year they won the Super Bowl in 2000 . This year I just lost interest in the Rams cause they were just boring but todays game watching Baker Mayfield play got me pumped up even though our season is done for this year he got the blood flowing again . His style of play electrified the stadium , got the fans cheering and made for a great highlight in his career . I really hope he continues to play well and gets resigned again next season .

Amazing what a decent offensive line, a running game, good receivers, and a good QB can do. Baker had little to none of this in Carolina. Not to mention he has a superior coach now.
bro, he had DJ moore who is certainly a 'decent' receiver and better than any current WR on the rams since Kupp is injured.. He also had Foreman, who had 3/4 games rushing for over 100 yards while Mayfield was there. Now, that pass blocking O Line was trash, that is for sure. Though, how many sacks did the Raiders have against the Rams? 3, so it's not like protection was stellar. I think he just needed a situation that played more to his strengths.
