Thank you for this! I always wonder how they will change with age. I just got a banana pastel male and I'm excited to see how he will freckle with age.
I've tried googling pictures of the same snake over time to see how morphs, such as lavenders and marti gras, change from baby to adult, but haven't found anything. The babies are so pretty, but I wonder if they hold that pop or if they fade.
I have a black pastel lesser female who was very dark when I bought her as a baby. She is now very light in color, but no pattern change. It's quite astounding at how much she's changed, and I wouldn't have realized it without taking many pictures over the years I've had her. Some of her offspring are doing the same---dark to light. It's fascinating how much they can change over the years. My champ pastel female changed too---browned out rather heavy, especially after laying her first clutch. My other snakes really haven't changed as much as these two have. (Jan Griffiths).
You have one of the most exciting topics that other ball python youtubers don't have..you highlight adults too which other youtubers only features the young ones..especially that one of the reasons why people buy (those who dont want to do breeding) because of their color and expect it will be the same until adulthood..and my theory is people get disappointed knowing that major changes happen to their bp's color, like the pastel and the banana..thank you for introducing toffino to me..i love it! More adult ball python videos please
As far as baby vs adult, I liked the toffinos and GHI. Subtle differences between adult and baby. I like snakes that hold their color, not wash out as bad as my black pastel lesser did. I still lover anyway, and she's perfectly healthy. (Jan Griffiths).
My favorite is bamboo the pattern down the back it reminds me of flord of the rings and I love clown. And the snake with freckles. I know that wasn't what you showed. All the snakes you showed were beautiful 😍 🤩 either way.
Thank you for the vid, great content which is very helpful for people deciding on which colour morph to get as a pet because seeing them as adult is so important cos your gonna have it for up to 30 years
I’ve really been liking the Toffino/toffee lately as well as the candino and they’re such pretty adults. I honestly really like the dark combos I feel they all pretty much look better as adults then say bananas/coral glows.
Love it Bro! I actually have purchased juveniles A Lesser Pastel Female which is up to about 1800 grams after 1.5 yrs and a GHI male whose around 800 after about 1 year plus a Fire female Yellowbelly Female, Enchi Male, and a Fire or Vanilla Pastel Yellowbelly Female which aren't close to size yet but EXCITED for Breeding in the future!
i believe they are the same. Had we kept the lines seperate as breeders, they would still be the same gene but with a noticeable different look. In essecne, they would be different from line breeding. But crossed to make bels so much, nobody can really pick em out.
Thank you for the information baby vs adult but can you show me baby vs adult pastel yellow belly if you have that morph due to I have baby pastel yellow belly want to see the difference between baby and adult
You mentioned that the albino changes a bit. Can we see the difference between an albino adult vs baby? Great video by the way. You are the only bp breeder that I’ve seen this type of video from!❤
Im doing a mystic x banana lemonblast and I can’t find many projects on mystics and what they do in the long term too morphs can you make a video on them
I've got a question: We've got a regular Ball male, rescued from a foreclosed house & abandoned. We've had him 10 years or so with no issues. He's def slowing down with age & I'm concerned. Coming out of winter, how often can I expect poops? He refused a rat, gonna offer a smaller meal. I've put him in the tub for swims hoping for a poop but nothing yet. He's not sick, he basks & drinks but he's just really slowing down. Any suggestions?
Poops come, typically. Sometimes, especially with a slow down in consumption, you don't get many. Unless seeing some swelling for a bit, I wouldn't worry just yet.
@@OlympusReptiles Sully & I appreciate your response. Soon as it warms up some here in N. Georgia, I can take him outside for some extra exercise. The neighborhood kids have learned a lot about snakes from him, especially that he's NOT a copperhead. Parents don't teach kids anything positive about snakes & Balls are the best first hands-on teachers IMHO. He's my grandnoodle 😂
Thanks for showing the comparisons - just what I was looking for. I think that pastel lesser is darn awesome for a single pet BP. I would have never given it a look before this.
This is great! The comparisons are very helpful. Thank you. Now I want a GHI. I hope you continue to do similar comparison videos, I find them interesting. BTW, I think you're pretty cool, not a raging @sshole at all. 🙂
I wish more people did this with different morphs thank you for posting this video I’m looking for my first BP right now!
Your darkening project to make a black ball python is definitely the one I’m most excited to see come to fruition!
Thank you for this! I always wonder how they will change with age. I just got a banana pastel male and I'm excited to see how he will freckle with age.

When he does get the freckles, they'll mostly be in the lavender portion of his coloring. I've always found that fascinating. (Jan Griffiths).
what morph should i get if i want a banana ball python that will still stay kinda pinkish when they grow up?

I’d like to see a side by side of the Butter vs Super Butter, juveniles to adults. The Fires and Pastel too.
I’m picking up my first bp tomorrow and he’s a candino! I am so excited to see him grow after watching this video! Thank you!
I love these vids no one everrrrrr shows adults just babies everywhere maybe you’ll see a couple at a expo or something but that’s about it

My favorite is bamboo the pattern down the back it reminds me of flord of the rings and I love clown. And the snake with freckles. I know that wasn't what you showed. All the snakes you showed were beautiful 😍 🤩 either way.
I love all the morphs Matt but I think my favorite are the bels lol
Thank you for the vid, great content which is very helpful for people deciding on which colour morph to get as a pet because seeing them as adult is so important cos your gonna have it for up to 30 years
I think the Calibee is the best looking Adult out there.
toffino for sure both looked amazing .
I’ve really been liking the Toffino/toffee lately as well as the candino and they’re such pretty adults. I honestly really like the dark combos I feel they all pretty much look better as adults then say bananas/coral glows.
I’m kinda liking darker morph’s lately. So that being said I loved all them dark morphs you showed!
They are still all beautiful 😍 🤗
GHI is a gene I would love to work with in the future. As well as ultramel, desert ghost and lavender albino.
I just got my first ghi pythons..... Appreciate this video... Dam they are gonna get big 😭😭😁
Out of the ones you’ve shown, adult ghi. I personally love mystic potion and clown babies and also adult bamboos.
Great video as always 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I want it noted, I watched a Ball Python video LOL. Good job homie. See you soon.
Yup, should be there
Very nice I've got a butter genetic stripe male and a Mojave female next year is the year
You have a very nice example of a pastel axanthic female, most I've see do indeed brown out...
All my adults pastel axanthic (4 of them) look like that
Great video and stunning snakes 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and my favorite was the pastel lesser
Ghi I'm liking the darker morphs
Banana for the baby. Didn’t know the other name you called it
I really like the Lesser. Do you have a butter morph or are these the same? I ask because some say yes and some no.
i believe they are the same. Had we kept the lines seperate as breeders, they would still be the same gene but with a noticeable different look. In essecne, they would be different from line breeding. But crossed to make bels so much, nobody can really pick em out.
When putting hatchlings near adults have u ever seen the adult bite the hatchling? Or any biting each other?
Thank you for the information baby vs adult but can you show me baby vs adult pastel yellow belly if you have that morph due to I have baby pastel yellow belly want to see the difference between baby and adult
GHI s look great, no matter the age. I love the dark snakes. I want to get one eventually, a female. (Jan Griffiths).
I love pastel axanthics as babies
I LOVE the look of a baby pastel lesser. NGL. Im still a little sad at how faint the brown is as an adult.
I do love Albino ❤️ too
GHI would be my favorite.

Yes, black pastel will add way more spits
Really thank for the info!
You mentioned that the albino changes a bit. Can we see the difference between an albino adult vs baby? Great video by the way. You are the only bp breeder that I’ve seen this type of video from!❤
See what I can do
Im doing a mystic x banana lemonblast and I can’t find many projects on mystics and what they do in the long term too morphs can you make a video on them
Only one I have is the mystic potion. Usually similar to Mojave though

It is, but it is a wood carving
Good Morning God Bless
Nice
Lol so you just got all them sitting in boxes there while life 😅??
While life? Not sure what you mean. But yes, they live in tubs. Same size as a glass cage, less stress.
Thanks for showing the comparisons - just what I was looking for. I think that pastel lesser is darn awesome for a single pet BP. I would have never given it a look before this.
Do your adult males eat small or medium rats?
Most eat smalls
This is great! The comparisons are very helpful. Thank you.
Now I want a GHI.
