There are plenty of part suppliers online: amayama.com Impex-jp.com Partsouq.com Burjauto.com I think I bought the ones in the video from Impex, which is a bit cheaper and sends via the cheaper EMS post service, which is great if you dont care waiting a couple of months. But it is a huge headache to buy from. Their UX is awful. The part numbers are mentioned in the description, or just use that link partsouq.com/en/catalog/genuine/vehicle?c=SUZUKI201402L&ssd=%24%2AKwHxxdTJ9am0qa6YlZLYzam9nZqE9fr39uTL-LC2hZGNiYuIzdr2nLK2soOVjJ3bxszx-IK2oqyh58z9_KKwpLqqr6Sg__3sg_T98fDxu7Dzpsjy9PXx9QAAAAA9Ug4Q%24&vid=0&cid=1011&cname=5.+Cooling&q=
Thanks! Try turning on heating or keep the funnel connected with coolant while the engine is running like I did. You can also try squeezing the pipes with your hands gently.
I have GV 2006, I didn't do a flush on the radiator. The heat keeps going up on and off. The radiator is new, one of the hoses is new, the thermostat is new but the reservoir plastic cap, the green one, is lost. so the reservoir is open all the time.. does this cause the issue ?
You should definitely buy a new reservoir. it's probably not the best idea driving without it. I would check that you have enough coolant in the radiator cap (do not open when it's hot). Also, check the cap itself. It functions as a valve, and if it's too old or broken, it can stay open and drain your radiator.
Oh, I misread your message, if its only the cap of the reservoir missing, it might not be that bad, I don't really know, but I doubt it realted to overheating. I would get myself a new cap anyway. What's the min and max of the temperatures that you see? Try measuring with an OBD dongle
Thanks for the video, good job. Did you purchase the cooling hoses from your country or is there a web vendor you use?
