I've been trying for 2 years.. and I "suffer" from implantation failure.. But I'm also 38years old.. My periods are regular and I'm ovulating. I'm taking all the correct supplements and I'm active, without being overly active.. My bmi is a bit high though.. 32.. so I'm trying to loose weight by just eating really healthy..
It’s true, ladies. Do not wait to see a fertility specialist. In your 30s especially, there’s not much time. I could never understand women who say yeah we’ve been trying to get pregnant (naturally) for 7 years… It’s like, well there may be something wrong. Why didn’t you go to a specialist after a year or two? And now you’re 37 years old with a low ovarian reserve. Do not wait!
@@drlorashahinehello doctor so I'm about to have an icsi procedure but I'm quite nervous about whether the equipments that they will use are new never been used before or are they using the same equipment for everyone??
Yes, good advice to get a check up for both partners if nothing after a year or so. Also, learn to be in tune with your cycle and recognise the signs our body gives when ovulation is approaching as timing is key. However, saying all this and you could be doing everything from eating well, taking vits, exercise, no stress etc and still no pregnancy whereas a 45 Y/o with health issues has a surprise pregnancy so there is a totally random nature to fertility too. It's not all black and white.
Ive having rare conditions can the stop you getting pregnant I have a rare blood group B positive (RH) and I am on blood thinners and blood pressure medication
I'm 23 years old,I had c section for ectopic pregnancy in 2022,but since 2022 I can't get pregnant again,my cycle sometimes is 32,31or 30 I don't know what is problem, it was section pregnant
Hi, thank you for sharing these videos, they are super helpful! I have a question/topic request :) My husband has type I diabetes and we are planning to start trying for a baby soon. I was not able to find a lot of information on the topic besides the fact that there’s probably some sperm quality issues and 1 in 17 chance baby will have it. Anything we can do about it to improve our chances? Thanks 🙏
Thank you for your videos, I just found you today. I am 34 and my husband and I have been trying for over a year and this year has taught me a lot about my cycle and women health. Do you have opinions on the Mira at home hormone testing devices? I started using it 4 months ago and found out that my LH spikes were later then my strip tests we projecting but this month has been confusing with PDG spikes and BBT spikes. Would love to know your thoughts.
Hello Dr. Shahine, thank You for Your informative videos. We and my husband are 30 and I try to conceive almost 2 years now (I’m married almost 7 years, but first 5 years we didn’t want to have babies). I live in Germany, here I visited “Fertility Clinic”, any test and checkup shows that we have no health issues and because the doctors here can’t find a problem, but we’re also have no pregnancy, it was told us that either we can wait to conceive naturally or we can do an IVF. I really don’t understand isn’t there any other doctors/ clinics/ way to find out the reason of our “unexplained infertility”? Thank You.
Thanks for your videos ❤ please could you give some guidance on how to regulate my menstrual cycle and ovulate with PCOS? I watched your other 2 videos talking about inositol and such. I live in the UK so doctors can’t help me as I have a high BMI. I feel so lost. I am trying to regulate my cycle with lifestyle changes. Any other advice would be so welcome ❤❤
I'm so sorry for what you've been through! I'd advise you to ask your medical provider for answers to your personal situation, as I can't give personal medical advice on social media. What! They won’t help you because of bmi? Wow, that’s shocking. I’m so sorry. I pray you get pregnant in spite of all that and deliver a happy, healthy, baby.
I’m trying to get pregnant from past 1 and half year and my doctor just put me on Metformin for 8 months to see if it makes any changes to my menstrual cycles as i have pcos but even after taking it for 8 months it didn’t make me pregnant and my gp doesn’t wants to refer me to the fertility specialist further more she refused to give me ovulation medicine idk what the hell is wrong with uk doctors they all have different opinions and doesn’t really bother to refer u to the Specialist .
@@drlorashahine sweetheart thanks for showing care♥️i have an call appointment with my doctor on 16th of September . If he wouldn’t prescribe me clomid or any other suitable option for ovulation induction. I will request my gp to refer me to the specialist instead.

Your videos are very informative and I’ll continue to watch. However the title is giving false hope a little. I’ve been ttc for 9 months, regular periods, regular sex throughout the month, partners semen analysis came back looking great and my blood work has all come back normal yet still no pregnancy other than one chemical about 4 months in. I know I’m not falling into the category of being infertile yet, but 9 months of waiting so far certainly hasn’t felt ‘fast’ Sometimes even if everything is healthy it can take a while, and unexplainable infertility is a very real thing
Totally with you on that. Taking all of the things, vitamins, methal folate and folinic acid and eating well, exercising and cycle tracking. Everything good, normal, whatever. Vitamin D was low side of normal and iron low in bloods. Sodium also low normal. So hopefully optimizing those helps. I pray you have a happy healthy and productive, full term, pregnancy this cycle and a healthy baby.
