Hi John’s. Love me some Uncommon Valor, of a similar ilk, Imprint just released “Let’s Get Harry” which is Blu-ray debut. It’s good 80s nonsense of Men on a Mission with an equally stacked cast of Robert Duvall, Gary Busey, Mark Harmon, Tom Wilson from BTTF, Glenn Frey from the Eagles!! He rocks a mean mustache and brandishes an M-60. It has a story credit by the late great Sam Fuller, shame he didn’t get to make it.
Hi Wolf and hope you're ok. I first caught UV on a BBC1 screening back in the late '80s and enjoyed it ever since. The film's slo-mo opening credit sequence made quite an impression on me at the time and LGH is another actioner I was initially exposed to via VHS. Gary Busey is excellent in Surviving The Game, too alongside a similarly stellar cast.👍
@@hallgos7319 yes surviving the game is a very underrated Rutger Hauer film stacked with a great cast John C. McKinley, Busey and F.Murray Abraham. That’s a firm favorite. 👍
Those Umbrella Double packs are usually crammed on to one disc, but surprisingly the picture quality is still usually pretty good depending on the transfer used, I have a few of them. Mad Heidi was pretty wild, I enjoyed it, I pre-ordered it but they didn't give me a slipcover at all. I also have that same copy of Repo Man, was disappointed to see it isn't a new transfer or remastering - still the same dull, lifeless HD transfer getting around for the last 15 years, but love the slipcover art
Yeah, I was aware UE's RM featured the existing transfer available on previous releases and I suspect a 4k restoration will surely surface sooner or later. Tbh, I only bought my own copy of this edition for the exclusive extras and packaging. Take care, stay safe and cheers for tuning in.👍

Hi John, One of the fastest rising labels i"d say Umbrella Entertainment, & yet again releasing movies we can"t get in the UK, "Uncommon Valor" is a much a underrated Vietnam war movie, or return back to Vietnam after the war movie that i do remember a popular vhs title in video store days in the UK, great cast, i do have the U.S release, Gene Hackman also starred in another Vietnam War movie but set during the war "Bat 21" which he made in the late 80"s which is quite decent also & Danny Glover is in that one. Another movie which needs to be released in a special edition is "Stir Crazy" as its a comedy classic, love Pryor & Wilder, i also have the U.S release, "Hanky Panky" i"ve only seen bits of, & i dom"t think there"s many worldwide releases of it, "Silver Streak" also needs to be released also in the UK. Those trailer releases look interesting & fun, great stuff John & John .

Hopefully that's the film i am thinking of,. Uncommon Valor is a great film, i have the German release of that.
