Just shows that you don't need a huge accordion to play good music.
What a charmer. I love street accordion players. God bless them all.
Leslie Blanton i agree beautiful to hear them
It sounds great. I remember how in a travel I heard those were the days from an accordion player, and it sounds so good.
As the world keeps getting crazier, I enjoy traditional sights and sounds that take me back in time.
I Love the tiny accordion with so many bass buttons
Just started accordion lessons with an excellent tutor and have a playlist full of videos like these. I love accordions to death and can't wait to begin playing outside ^^
People who can play the accordion are so talented
God bless every accordion players, the bring so much fun and light to the streets and markets

The French version of "Those were the days" is "C'était le temps des fleurs", by Dalida. It was a hit in France decades ago, and is still very famous. Most people in Strasbourg and the rest of France would be less familiar with the original Russian or English version (which I didn't even know existed, I'll definitely listen to it)
Originally it was composed as 'Dorogoy Dlinnuju' - 'The long way'
Bravissimo 💞💞💞
Guter Musiker, .... Respekt !
I sincerely hope this guy gets good tips. He deserves them.
Le franchise ♥️
Nice!
Muito belo 🎵🪗🇧🇷
Lovely playing! And I see Nilin Lusankya already mentioned (2 years ago, but didn't explain) that the original title of "Those Were the Days" is "Dorogoi Dlinnoyu" - a Russian gypsy song that got borrowed for a pop hit. The tune is also known as "Tziganskaia" or "Tziganotchka" amongst French gypsies (of whom there are many in Strasbourg). So I wonder what name the accordion player knows it by?
👍👍

@@chawras6726 "Those Were the Days" (1968) is a song credited to Gene Raskin, who put a new English lyric to the Russian romance song "Дорогой длинною" (literally "By the long road"), composed in 1924 by Boris Fomin with words by the poet Konstantin Podrevsky.
