Sorry Sir, but you are one of the best at making this kind of tutorials, your ideas open a lot of possibilities and put my imagination to work, I just started learning this about 2 weeks ago... I´m happy to find someone who takes the time to teach others...like you do. thanks.
Hello, how do you made that the boxes created in AE have the same size as the real boxes? Because at the end it is just one video image. It could kappen that when you are mapping each box projected does not have the size as the real boxes or not?
nomeencuentro Hi, In the example, everything is a square, so it all stretches out fine. If for some reason things aren't lining up properly you can always add more points to help you adjust it.
+Donato Hey Don, Yeh, it would be smartest to save at the same resolution of my projector. I just got in the habit of making all my visuals at PAL because I had a camcorder that filmed at that size. I find it best to pick a resolution and try and stick with it. But you are right, 800x600 would have been a more sensible choice for this particular clip.
thanks for your reply. So i believe that the only way to make boxes turning with the same size and proportion like my boxes I must use After Effects, right?
nomeencuentro Humm, well you don't have to use AE, but for the method I'm using here it helps. Have you watched all the other tutorials I've made? ruclips.net/p/PLrud1wbWOIVQV2r69KZtnnYPHiCK8BUvY There are a few different approaches, this way is just what I worked out to work for me.
vjfit Hello, your tutorials are really wonderful. But, I haven't seen a tutorial or guideline how to (in mapping) to draw a line "riding" the borders of a box. I guess it's about bringing a mask into the mapping, have you some link for this topic? Thanks!
nomeencuentro Cheers, glad to hear they're helping you out! I might look at doing a 'lines drawing on' tutorial in the future. The way I've used is animating a Stroke effect in AE, something like this: www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/graffiti_writing/ Best of luck. X
Well I just figured this stuff out for myself. If you can't understand what I'm saying, I guess you could just try opening up the software and having a play about.
