I was there, at the show, and I saw all the projects presented in the competition. Yours was the best by far. You used very well the structure of the building and the background music and sounds were perfectly synchronized with the projections. It really is a fascinating challenge for imagination and inspiration. Both prizes are well deserved. Keep up the amazing otherworldly work!
@@laxmibolbanda6290 it used to be a competition for projection mapping artists happening every year. After an open call a jury of light festival directors selected 6 artists that could create an artwork which was screened at the event and judged by the jury and the public so 2 prizes were given every time. It has been changed ever since.
Wow! Hey this just got recommended to me, and the whole thing I thought it was another Maxin10sity show that I missed, because I've seen a lot of those guys. But in the end I saw that it's another artist! You guys are great! I am actually so happy, because I WANTED more like the style that Maxin10sity does, interacting with the building, transforming it, and synchronizing it all with a great soundtrack to a finely-tuned experience, and you got it! Subscribed immediately, and boy! do I have many videos to make up for!
looking at this makes me even more sure of my study choice! doing a vid. mapping project now and this is a huge inspiration and shows so good what is possible with this technique! no words for it!
Put your phone away for 5 minutes and give yourself the chance to make the most of an amazing experience as it unfolds in front of your eyes. And allow others to do the same.
That was FACKING EPIC!!!!!... Been really , and I dunno why but, I've been REALLY researching light projection mapping, to the point of losing sleep... For various applications small to large concerts etc... Including half dome projection, just a lot of different shit, this is inspiring...
this is simply stunning. i got here from a resolume arena tutorial. i hope one day to be able to put my own big display together using my own musical compositions. as yet i dont even know where to start. and that is always an interesting place to be. thank you for firing my imagination.

It was made in appr 3 months and about 12 people involved but we haven't worked only on this one at that time and some guys did only short parts and some others did more. So maybe about 6 weeks and 6-8 people focused only on this..
I wish I knew who was on what drugs at this event. Like, blue lights on the backs of the heads for people on gooms, purple lights for the people on Lucy, and pink for those who are candy flippin. Would be fun to document the ratio. For science of course.
what kind of projectors do you use for large scale projection mapping? I saw you were projecting onto a massive skyscraper in Bangkok would you use the same projectors there?

Thank you for your words. It's always great to read feedbacks from people that feel the soul of the artwork. This is what we're doing this for.
Can you please let me know what's the name of this competition and what it's all about?? This might sound lame Please reply

Is just amazing .... Which projectors were used for the festival? How many projectors?
@@Limelightart Wow that is truly spectacular... And with Panasonic processing even more so. How many discrete video outputs were there?
This is awesome!

a very exciting sight. tell me how much it costs to create such a project, only according to 3D graphics. if it is not a secret! ? 🤗
Gotta love the cell phone photographers taking pictures with the flash on! lol
Okay, how do we throw a music festival at this location with a massive collab between visual projection artists and electronic musicians.
It was done one mad mapper or on after effect ? Which one you guys prefer?
I wish people would put their phones down and just fully experience something happening right in front of them.
what kind of projectors do you use for large scale projection mapping? I saw you were projecting onto a massive skyscraper in Bangkok would you use the same projectors there?
I wonder how many projectors needed.
I love it !!
Only 600k views.. how?!?
Best mapping ever ! Gives me chills each time ! Whats the name of the song !! Its so goood
where and when is your next light mapping show?
any idea how many projectors were used? Ansi? 20K? 30K? probably close to a Million USD in hardware.
You guys did do the visuals for Shpongle shows correct?
nope
Do you think Brian Cox has seen this?
Which projector is being used?
what does something like this actually cost to put on please? It would appear to be way beyond 99% of Theatre companies budgets
Amazing :)
which software did you use to make this?
awesome work !!!!
Dr.Oscar Lourenco arena probably
I guess he was referring at 3d software like Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds max, Houdini and so on. That's a question that only the uploader can answer. :)
Caesar resolume.com/ here buddy
resolume doesn't create media. he was probably referring to software like Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds max, Houdini, After Effects, and so on.
This guy must have drank a lot of cups of dm tea.
they are Ozorians ;)
and changa (y) :))
How is this even possible? Is this done by Digital Media? Animation? How can I learn this?
Steve Ramirez This is a projection. It's made in a special software.
It's called projecton mapping

I was waiting for the part when drunken Bubba gets on his friends shoulders in front of the projector and does the barking dog shadow.
