I prefer the current rear bumper as well. I also like the current overall interior design better. The additional or updated tech surely is nice in the refresh though. Overall, the new Tucson makes me a bit jealous as a 2023 leasee of a Tucson Limited. I think the front fascia/grill came together MUCH better on the refresh and I really enjoyed that feature on my own vehicle. Now, I look at and wish it looked like the refresh. Darn you Hyundai!!

Hyundai does it. This is one of the best-looking Suv ever done. It is so futuristic and at the same time, it feels familiar. Well done, Hyundai. Good review.

They made the rear directionals even LOWER!! They need to blend them into the rear tail-lights, similar to the Kia Sorrento. It's something I have never felt comfortable with while driving my Tuscon, and since they made it lower, that's a deal breaker for me. I think it's a HUGE safety issue, as ppl's eyes are not trained to look way down low for a directional, especially if they are following close.

As I said in other related videos, the changes made are slight, and only worth noting because Hyundai have gone backwards on what was a beautiful interior design, now to extreme basic!…
The exterior changes are not worth noting at all, except the rear indicators, which had already been too low, now dangerously lower!!
Apart from the above, they destroyed the interior, replacing the beautiful sleek dash/screen integration with a big ugly looking “tray” which is a magnet for junk!!
The interior of the 2023 model swayed me from any other car in its price range as it was the best dash/screen integration I’ve ever seen on a.car! I thought Hyundai nailed it on this one, but this new change is a disaster, for that reason I will not be staying with Hyundai when changing this year!

It is all very nice...the stalk shifter on the column....now that will take some practice...but... I think I like that better than the fake gear shift knob they have put in a lot of cars....nudge it forward for drive...nudge it backward for neutral and reverse...but keep it looking like a gear shift knob?....why....if you are going to go to shift by wire then get rid of the knob...use buttons...or in this case a stalk on the column and free up that space. Really like the passenger shelf on the dash...would like the displays to be a little more in the dash instead of sticking up...but, at least it's not the glued on tablet look that Toyota and Honda STILL do....still love my 2022 Tucson.!!!

Hi @CarSceneKorea , in the driving review can you analyze also the following aspects?:
    - if you have a hybrid or plug-in version, can you see how the e-comfort drive is working - it suppose to help with the passing over pot holes or bumps in the road
    - the electric trunk - can you close it without using the key or the button on it? (in my opel astra K ST, you can open/close using the foot under the rear of the car)
    - automatic high beam - if they behave like matrix leds
    - can you find some info regarding the different sizes - EU vs rest of the world (length of 4,5m vs 4,63m) - where is the EU size loosing ? (in trunk space or in back seat passengers leg room)
    - instant consumption at various speeds, after reaching and driving constantly - 60km/h, 100km/h, 130km/k -
    - 360 camera - test to see actual distance to an object between what is displayed on screen and what you see from outside the car.
    Thank you.

Korea does not get any PHEV regardless of the vehicle type, so no answer to that, but e-Motion which hybrids are equipped with, the differences are quite noticeable especially with 2.0

    1. Keep the 2023 base design especially the interior
    2. The turning signals should have been integrated into the strip across the rear - yellow LEDs animated
    3. Use multi LED headlights in the top elements of the 'angel wings' - height gives better road illumination. Leave the existing low mounted LED lights but add a fog lamp setting - no need for separate lights
    4. Have a trim level where all doors have a courtesy LED light
Properly spec'd, especially because of the look of the daytime running lights, the Tucson could have been an entry level Genesis
