Hi Dave, nice to find you on here! I'm a fan of your music, especially this track. I've listened to and collected a lot of house music from this period but have never heard a track quite like this one, from the structure, the in time ticking clock on the beat, use of samples and just overall I think this track is truly unique and well, bloody fantastic..! If you have any info about this track, I'm all ears. Much respect mate! Cheers, Grant
Hi Grant - Glad you like the track. Dave Coker is the main writer for this track and if I remember rightly it all started off with some vocal samples from a remix that we did had done. The kit used, remember this is circa 1992-3, was Akai S3200, Roland TB303s, Sh 101s, SH2, JD 800, Juno 106, Yamaha YS100 and all mixed through a Mackie 32 channel desk. If my tiny brain can remember anything else I'll let you know. Cheers, Dave
@@dept4d315Wow thanks for the timely response! Cool, also a big fan of Dave Coker's work and the all stuff he's collaborated on, love it all. Amazing, thanks so much for the info :) ha ha no stress! Really glad to have some more info behind this timeless yet somewhat underrated tune. Not to mention the album as a whole, tip top. Makes me wanna go to London and eat some Jellied Eels!
