If I had to name one song to have in a film about my childhood it would be this a thousand times over. My dad used to dance with me around the house when I was around the age of 3. Ever since then this has been mine and my dads song (along with many others) I come back to this song to remember the days when it was so easy and beautiful. I was bought up as a mix of a flower child and a moon child. My aunt and uncle are hippies and I’ve been to so many celebrations where I can just roll around in the flowers and then star gaze and listen to good music. This song makes me feel at peace and at home 🥰
This is a very rare plate - love the English rose mix..been looking for the name of this plate since 1995 when I heard it out and on a Paul oakenfold love of mix tape..amazing plate from bitd
I heard this being played in the nineties so much. For more than 20 years I didn't know the name of this track, it was in my head so many times, feel so lucky I rediscovered it 💛
every 5 years or so when go for a clear out of the cd singles in box in the "loft"... I come across this and can't bring myself to bin it. this is what 20 years old and still hypnotic.
Decided a long time ago, that the CD singles (bought 25 years ago in my clubbing days) weren't going anywhere. I've left them in my Will to the most unexpecting victim, happy in the knowledge that they'll bring him immense joy. In the meantime, I grab a few at random, chuck on the headphones at 2am, and thoroughly enjoy myself. Sometimes I even remember to turn the speakers off.
Puuuure joy!!! Playing it so much since I found it again recently, that I'm waking up with it in my head in the mornings......soundrack to my days....how nice!! 😊 🤣😂😂🤣
Wow! I never knew this video version existed until now. I only ever saw the official strange video. Plus seeing this version explains why the cheering and clapping @2:50 is heard in the official video but no scene of people cheering and clapping. Thanks for the upload. ... Oh and btw ... Stanley Unwin RAWKS ... lol
No joke I've been looking for this song for years, downloaded countless apps to try and get it with the limit knowledge of the lyrics, only for it to be recommended to me 💀
Hi _ Glad you like the choon. Funny you mention "Kevin and Perry", as the band also had an alias "Ver Vlads" who wrote a song called "Crazy Ivan" (Cafe Del Mar 1) which was actually in Kevin and Perry! You must be psychic :-)
It was played in absolutely cult underground Czech movie "šeptej"in scene in club.Thats why this tune was huge back in time in CZ,way bigger succes then in UK...
I can't believe I've never seen this video. Actually think it's better then the final one. Tune brings back such great memories. Cheers for uploading it.
This song was immense then... and I'm glad to say, it's immense now... Fantastic music... Well done to all genii involved. Glad to see a superior video to the former. 'Everything is awesome'.
Just checking in to this crew to make sure you're all still here and believing... STILL... the most memorable song of 1994 I can think of as a Jedi Christian. This is supreme. Thank you... Isn't creativity and faith just fantastic? When, like Mariah Carey, you 'believe'. I certainly believe in this track, and I'm mates with high ranking priests.
I'm glad I found this video. I had no idea that the song is actually from 1994 (or even older). Now I find it even more amazing! I will use this version from now on when listening to the song on YT. And I need to find a copy of the original 12". I "only" got the 97/98-version.
I absolutely love this… last tune on an old House Collection CD when times were better 🤣 but how did they get the finances to shoot the video 🤷♂️🤣🤦♂️
wow, I really like this one video of the cricket playing...more whimsical ....the other video is fine but I relate more to this....and I'm not British. #chicago
I'm not a cricket fan, but that singular sound is one of the two most beautiful I've ever heard captured. The other? The heels on glass in "Kinky Boots".
Hi Rob, you are correct, as the part with Charlie 1 (the singer) was recorded in Richmond Park, although they did have to stop filming once spotted by the park police!
Happy 30th Anniversary.🎉 ✨🎊

Great to see Mr Unwin on this, I always thought it was strange not to include him on the official video. Thanks again for upping this! :-)

Tune
Electro junk........Music really started going downhill fast in the 1990s..She sounds like Minnie Mouse or a pack of Chipmunks.
