Through all the incoherent mumbling, this actually makes sense.
Yes film is white balanced. Most c41 films are daylight balanced(~5600k) and some like cinestill 800t are tungsten balanced (~3200k). The color rendering of a film has to do with both color balance and the specific color response curves of the emulsion. This said, almost all the film stock produced today is daylight balanced, making it pretty difficult to find tungsten balanced film (which gives you strong blue cast if shot under sunlight). The subtle differences that you see have more to do with each emulsion's specific color palette. Kodak has a warmer color palette whereas Fuji is cooler. TLDR; film is more than just a... strip of film.
How's my guy gonna rock a Coors shirt but be sipping on a Bud?
Is that Cole Bennett in the background? Thank for the vid!
wait, 5600 white balance right?
I don't have the option to set my white balance to 5600 K on my Nikon d3500, how do I still achieve this ?
Set your white balance to daylight; or sunny
JAWNIEAPPLETREE thank u!!
@@izziemcwilliam5105 any luck?...does it work?
You could also shoot raw and change white balance after
nice video! But if you're shooting raw, the WB doesn't matter and u can adjust in LR:)
Is there much difference between setting the white balance in camera and in Lightroom?
no
Shadows green cause the scanner is tryna compensate for the underexposed photo. Just turn down the exposure in Lightroom
didn't know that, i still do it haha
How about learning how to use shutter speed, aperture, ISO, light and shadows to take the photos you want? Dare I say it? Yes! Basic photography 101!
You didn't buy all that camera equipment to spend hours in front of the computer to make corrections that could have been made when you took the photo in the first place.
Digital cameras has made idiots out of photographers and photographers out of idiots.
