Another superb recipe!! A couple of tips from a baker: 1. Don't cut on silicon sheets. They're too expensive to damage. I cringe easily. :-) 2. I found the slap chopper incredibly useful for chopping almonds. Saves on knives too. You two are the best!
I used your Pecan Sandies recipe to make biscotti. Replace the pecans with almonds. 2nd baking - bake for 2 hours at 80°C (175°F) - they'll be crispy right out of the oven, and light coloured (with the original golden browned edges) - they won't come out too dark. Oven on with top element and fan.
Oh my gosh - those are SO awesome! I absolutely LOVE Biscotti and have made them with the original recipe of wheat/white flours. Now I won't feel so guilty about making and eating this recipe!! Thank You!!
Thank you for this wonderful recipe!! I made it yesterday and the result was delicious. They are very filling and when I dunked them in my coffee I thought I was in paradise. Muchas gracias! 😍
Thank you Matt and Megha! I have been wanting a biscotti recipe for a wild. Let the floodgates for nutty recipes fly open for you now Megha! So happy you don’t have an allergy!

Matt! Low Carb Biscotti! You are my hero! You guys are great. You are knowledgeable, informative and super creative with recipe ideas. You are like the Bergs except funny and chill with none of that awkwardness that makes watching their videos like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard. Please keep it up! Loved your collaboration with Sahill at HK, would love to see you do one with Rob at The Keto Chef.
I make bicotti 3 times a year - have been for years - will try this recipe since I no longer do carbs - but these are much easier if you fashion the batches into loaf shapes and not round. That will produce the right size and the traditional angle at the end of each one will be there.
Hi Matt, great job on the Biscotti! I'm also Italian, and I think my kids will love this version. My family traditionally makes our Biscotti with anise, which I absolutely love and personally couldn't do without in the recipe so familiar to my tastes, but the kiddos don't like the licorice flavor of the anise, so this is the perfect option for them! Thx for sharing! And congrats to you and Megah on the baby! 👍❤🍂🍁🙏
Thanks. I'm trying to give flaxseeds the boot at least until further notice. Some are saying that flax is highly estrogenic. Is there something else I could use. Chia seeds are out too.
You guys are so awesome! 😍 Going to bake this today. Years ago I used to make a Mediterranean bread, made with olives and onions. Then I would slice it and twice Bake it, LOL... it was like a homemade zwieback bread, I gave it to my son to chew on. Your biscotti reminds me so much of that...I should try to convert mine nto a keto recipe!
I'm sooo excited to make these! My family on my dad's side are all Italian. My Aunt always makes a plate of cookies for Christmas that she sends out to each family each year, and biscotti are always one of my favorite! All the lesser sweat Italian cookies were my favorite! Now a keto version of biscotti!? Whoop whoop! :) I think biscotti is actually just Italian for cookies though! But I could be wrong! Lol! :) Thank you for this recipe!!! :)
Not sure where I found this recipe. I wrote it in my "keto notebook" and forgot to put the source but this is supposedly a keto Pizzelle recipe ( haven't tried yet) But will soon ;) 1/2 C. almond flour dash of salt 1/2 teas. baking powder 1 Tbsp. sweetner of choice spice of choice: cinnamon, anise, almond, etc 1/4 C. oil of choice 1 egg flavored extract of choice --this is a little thicker than normal, add water to thin. Sift dry ingredients together, add oil and egg. Mix well. Bake in Pizzelle iron.
Omg thank you so much, I'm not Italian, I'm Pakistani and these biscotties are quite similar to Cake Rusk.... which we dip in chai....I'll for sure be making these soon...

Have y'all done a review on Keto Slimfast? I'm curious about it and I trust your opinion. I have heard you talk about it a little here and there, just wondering if there was a full video or if you plan on one in the future? The reason I'm interested is I'm 2 months into keto and have a very small appetite. I can do the 23 hour fasting / 1 hour eating, no problem. Or another high nutrient, low carb, good keto macro bar ? Thanks ! Love you guys, you are the best!

Mouth is watering! Please, I need a pizzelle recipe for Christmas! Tradition in my Italian family but I havent fount a comparable keto version. DF would be sweet as well!

Thank you for this. I love baking biscotti and was wondering how I’d make them Keto. I have a question, though? Even when I baked with traditional ingredients, I used less sugar coz I don’t like super sweet desserts, so is the liquid stevia necessary?
How much Pyure Organic Stevia would I use in place of the Liquid Stevia? I have made these before and they came out great but I can't remember how much I used. Those conversion charts just cause me confusion.

Still working may way through the Pumpkin bread...which is great btw....so now I have my next meal prep dessert for the week.👍 Not Italian, but it's my understanding the biscotti means twice bake.

The more of an angle, the longer the biscotti will be. Thank you so much for this recipe. Sono anche Italiano 😁👍🏻🇮🇹

I'm having trouble understanding. So you bake the biscotti twice?
Yes, you bake it whole like he showed pull it out slice it (it will still be soft) then throw them back in to get crispy
Yes, it is a way to bake it slowly so it keeps its form and toasts it through.
