Hi and thank you very much for your continued support 🥰💚🌿 Apparently all interaction on YT helps with the algorithm... and on TV I do put the thumbs up, but for comments I use the mobile app, too.... which sometimes is extra bother, I do agree 💚
I absolutely love your channel and have been watching for months. Congratulations on your 100th episode on RUclips, what an accomplishment 👏 I love your gardening friend as well🐾
I subscribed about 6 months ago. I just like your soothing voice and gardening in the green/wet of Ireland. (The grass is always greener 😊). Something that there is not much of in Sydney, Australia
😀💚🌿Thanks a million for your continued support 🥰 The grass is indeed greener, I would trade you truckloads of wet sod for some Australian sunshine 😂😎🌻 You can keep the spiders, sharks and snakes though 😂💚💚💚
💚💚💚 lovely autumn colour in the pots and so many tomatoes! Congrats on 100 episodes 🎉🎉🎉 - look at us twinning!!! Here I make a mahooosive deal out of it and you quietly mention it 🤣 here's hoping our greek gigante make it before the cold really sets in!
Hehe, that's what I was thinking - we're twinning 😀🥰🥰 I didn't want to steal your thunder huns🤗 Fingers crossed about the Greek Gigante indeed 🤞Have a great weekend 🤗💚🌿
Hi Maiju 👋 Your pots look gorgeous planted up ❤ Plenty of lovely ripe tomatoes 🍅 shame about the blight but like you said its the time of year now. San Marzano tomatoes look fab, we've put it on our list for next year 😃 Fabulous 🍅 harvest. Charlotte potoes look really good, nice and clean too 👍😃 Congratulations on 100 videos 🎉 Have a great weekend ❤ x
Thanks a million, Linda 🥰💚🌿I have to start making more sauces to freeze as we have had our fill of the fresh tomatoes 🤭🤭 Have a great weekend and best wishes, Maiju 🤗💚🌿
❤ from a fellow Kerry gardener. Love your channel. I have watched from day one and you have grown so much. Thanks for sharing and the time you spend on this venture ☘️☘️🌶️🪴💐🐾
Thanks a million, Susie😀 💚🌿 He loves to keep an eye on me and nods off from the boredom 🤭🤭 when he has had enough, he'll come over and throw the toy at me for fetch play 😂💚💚🐶
You always have exciting things happening! When I saw the ericaceous compost bag, I thought you might be growing azalea’s. They are beautiful, I have resisted buying them so far as I would have to use ericaceous compost too. I have a blueberry plant which I got ericaceous compost for this year. It is much happier than in normal compost last year. My sweetpeas are finally flowering. The sunflowers will be flowering in a few days too! It was my first time growing them so at least they have finally flowered! You are so right about saving the seeds that are used to your area. I had that idea too. I am glad you saved those strawberry babies, you can never have enough of those! 🎊🌼Congrats on your 100th video!! 🌼🎊Have a great week.💚💚💚
Thank you 🥰💚🌿 You're a star! I appreciate your continued support! 💚 Azaleas are so pretty! A proper punch of colour in spring without the size of Rhodo They do love the acidic conditions and you wouldn't need to replace the soil every year, only top dressing to maintain them. I'm delighted you have the sweetpeas flowering now, too They are great plants once they get going, I find the same with Cosmos. Sometimes they can take forever to put out a flower Have a great week and best wishes, Maiju 😊💚🌿
Very nice tomato harvest! I had blight early on and it took all of my paste/sauce tomatoes, but my cherry tomatoes are still producing. Congrats on your 101st video.
A bit late, but congratulations on your 100th! I'm also not a person that leaves comments all the time, but I do always give you a thumbs up. I just love the way you explain things and also love the mixture of your vegetable/ kitchen garden, your greenhouse, your rose- & cottage garden and ofcourse Spuds. I wish I had so much space around the house. Keep up making this lovely channel. 💚💚💚
Thank you so much for your lovely comment 🥰🥰 It is truly wonderful to get such positive feedback. There are plenty of times when the garden overwhelms me, mainly because of the unreliable weather and constant catching up when the weather is nice...and I wish I have a smaller space 😅Thanks a million again for your kindness 🥰💚🌿
Hey Maiju, greetings from co. Wexford. As always, lovely video! Your garden looks fantastic! And still so much growth. So jealous of your zucchinis. That was one of my fails this season. Mainly due to slug damage. Anyway, onwards and upwards hehe. All the best! 💚💚💚
Thanks a million, Justyna 🥰💚🌿 I did revert back to the old reliable ''Black Beauty'' on those, I didn't have any last year because I used a different variety 💚 Indeed onwards and upwards 😊 Best wishes, Maiju
Congrats on such a bountiful harvest, despite the challenges this season has been. Fab selection of plants for your pots, they look stunning. Love your considered approach with the beans for next year.👍… Just in case💚💚💚🤭
😍You're a star!...haha, just in case 😂😂💚💚💚 Right back at you!🥰 Tomatoes have been cropping just amazingly, the family is getting sick of them now 🤭They fruit doesn't disappear as fast from the baskets as before...Time to cook them up and freeze probably...
I’m a bit in a panic now about my dahlias in pots, as I’ve never grown them before I’m of course wondering what to do with them in winter. So much different and conflicting information on the Tube. I have lots of new spring bulbs to get out but it’s so nice most of the plants haven’t died back enough to plant the bulbs. Would putting bark mulch around the base help keep the weevils down? Look forward to seeing them come spring Maiju. Have a wonderful weekend ahead, Ali ☔️🌞🇨🇦 Ps 😂😂 I can’t help myself I leave novels ❤❤
You are amazing, Ali 🥰💚🌿 I love your novels😉 but also knowing you are able to keep up watching and supporting so many gardening channels on RUclips is mind blowing. You are a kind person 💚💚💚 Everyone should have an Ali in their lives 🥰 I have not found anything to deter the weevils, unfortunately. Nematode treatment, but the application of it is very particular has been the only organic treatment. Otherwise dispose of the adults on site and look for grubs in the soil in early spring to keep the population down. The Dahlias will need to be lifted and stored indoors in Canada's cold winters indeed, as Robert said. Frost free and dry. Monty Don would always semi-dry the tubers before storage - placing them upside down like onions and making sure the bottom centre is not wet, also removing any visibly damaged, or rotting tubers before storage... In here I could possibly get away with heavy mulch and keep the tubers in the ground. Have a great weekend and best wishes, Maiju 🤗💚🌿
Hi flower, yes cyclamen, I remember growing those to sell on the stall for a bit of winter colour. Your toms have done better than mine, most of mine got cooked in the heat so am trying a few more hoping to have some for Christmas and have just started picking third crop strawbs. Don't know the variety, but very tasty. Also have new carrots and beetroot nicely through and broccoli just planted out and with luck spuds should be up in a couple of weeks. All these hopefully for Christmas dinner. He says, hopefully. How you coping with all these gales and heavy rains I keep seeing going over you. We have just had the first rain in 70 days, but had plenty water in the pond this year so kept pouring the stuff on and has made a good difference.
Greetings to Portugal 😀💚🌿 We had the most beautiful weather 1 week ago, low 20C, like summer....but it def has made up for it now. Plenty of rain and temps are 12-14C, below 9C at night How wonderful to be able to harvest strawberries in Sept 😍, we have had our full with the tomatoes for this year. We are not eating as many fresh anymore, I have to make more sauces to freeze, but we are appreciating the potatoes 💚🌿
@@spudsandroses Hi Dear, if you had mail or mobile I could send some snaps then you can see for yourself. N. Zealand is the same it's to do with the more constant daylight length. I grew Elsanter over there and it also cropped 3 times as against the 1 in U.K.
