Great tip: Go to a boulangerie, buy some 1€ pastries and have a picnic under the Eiffel tower! It's amazing and you will save money for lunch, which can cost around 20€.

Thank you for making this great list of free things to do in Paris! And, thank you for showing the atrium inside Galleria Lafyette (mall). I nipped into this mall to go up to the rooftop deck and see the city views from there, but while walking through the mall to get there, I went past the multilevel atrium with the stained glass ceiling. It was stunningly beautiful and worth seeing! (In a mall?!! Lol)
During my 10 day visit to France, I was in Paris for 7 of those 10. Silly me: I thought I would be able to see "eveything" in Paris in 7 days. Lol
Paris is so magical and enchanting. Although I saw the main things that I wanted to see, I was very surprised at how much there is to do and see in this amazing city. I didn't even scratch the surface! Lol Even the Louvre you could spend days in. And, I loved that the cafes were EVERYWHERE in Paris. Sitting at a café, eating good food, and watching the world go by... bliss!
Can't wait to go back!!!

When the first free thing you are told is the cemetery,. You know nothing in this city is free.

Matete Garrison As a londoner I know in my city, All, and I say ALL the museums are free, admission to so many other historic buildings , monuments and parks is free. People are kinder to tourists . Streets are safer from pickpockets and scammers unlike Paris . We have a better transport system. There are no groups of pickpockets allowed to operate in underground trains. Our cemeteries are free too, 😉.And we smile.
