Fentanyl doesn't readily absorb through skin. Companies spent billions of dollars to figure out how to make it work with transdermal patches because it doesn't.
All of those "cop overdose" videos you see are cops having panic and anxiety attacks. It gives them a reason to justify incarcerating drug users, and it's not even real. Just like the drug panics of pcp and crack. Drug war propaganda.
He said "contact" it doesn't necessarily mean to absorb through the skin. Contact means if you have cuts or touch your sensitive areas like nostrils, eyes, or other areas it can be absorbed.
I am honestly baffled how you managed to condense this much misinformation into 38 minutes. Also the way you speak at times clearly shows you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about and are reading off a wikipedia article that's been through google translate at least half a dozen times. LSD and psilocybin form an immediate tolerance in your body, making the idea of daily use not only impractical, but nearly impossible. Not to say you can't attempt to take the compounds regularly, but you will not yield any meaningful results from taking them after repetitive use. A two-week gap in between higher dose experiences is recommended, while microdosing can be more frequent, but is not recommended for daily use. If you did try to use it every day, you're just wasting product, as you won't feel/see much of anything. Additionally, when the topic of Salvia came up, I can promise you that you will never find someone that is capable of consuming Salvia while driving... Much less being able to stand after consuming it. While it is possible to put it between the lip and the gums to absorb the salvorinum A (the active compound in the plant), the most common method of intake is smoking. To add to this, activating the salvorinum A requires extremely high heat to be applied to the dry leaves, which generally requires a torch lighter as well as a bong to cool the extremely hot smoke, which requires two hands. Within seconds of consuming via this method, the user is in a full blown psychedelic experience. Another thing to note is that the most common salvia you will find is in extract form, which are dry leaves that have been sprayed with extracted Salvorinum A. These are significantly more potent than pure, untreated salvia, and are also significantly more common and easier to find when compared against the organic stuff; So much so that you can find it at a variety of smoke shops as it is legal in most parts of the United States. The organic stuff is already enough to send you into a mind-shattering trip, but considering the organic stuff is much more difficult to come by it makes the scenario described even more unrealistic. In short; Read the Psychedelic Explorer's Guide, the Shroomery forums, and some of the other excellent research that has gone into these compounds. They are legitimately fascinating and have some interesting medical properties that can be used to treat a variety of conditions.
I am glad you mentioned mescaline and lsd causing HPPD. I have hppd from daily use of dmt, mescaline, and lsd, for years. And for that reason even tho I love(d) psychedelics I can't recommend it to anyone and I wish I never had. This video contains quite a few incorrect details about things. The problem with tobacco and why it's so much harder to quit than vaping or nicotine gum or anything like that is because tobacco contains MAOI (monoamine oxidase inhibitors) that potentiate the nicotine, making it much, much, much stronger. MAOIs are also prescribe as pharmaceuticals as antidepressants and for anxiety management. This is why someone without their vape might seem irritable but someone without cigarettes might seem like they're gonna lose their mind. Anyone that has done both can tell you too that cigarettes just hit waaaay harder. They can make you feel so light headed and so high for a moment that first smoke of the day when you wake up will make you sit right the heck back down. Vapes even with absurdly high nicotine value cannot get anywhere near this sensation (though that first one of the day after 8hours of sleep is really nice and can sometiems get heady but it's no where even remotely close to what tobacco will do to you.) Moreover, tobacco companies (specifically cigarette making companies) have specially engineered and treated and cultivated and crafted their tobacco products to be *more* addictive than just nicotine or tobacco by itself. They have literal scientist dedicated to trying to figure out how to make it more addictive, more rewarding, and cost the least amount of money for them to produce (which means cutting corners for profits leading to more dangerous product than it already is.) Opium is not just morphine. And neither is peyote just mescaline. The opium poppy contains over 100 alkaloids and like half of them are psychoactive. Thebaine from the poppy is used to synthesize hydrocodone and oxycodone in labs but is a potent dysphoric pain reliever in of itself. Codiene and Morphine and Thebaine are the most notable opiates from the poppy but it contains many, many, many more that are still studied today for producing new pharmaceuticals. I mentioned earlier my daily use of mescaline containing cacti (I used to grow the legal species back in the day, only peyote is illegal to posses, but a long long time ago I did so I have a lot of experience here) mescaline containing cancti like peyote has over 50 alkaloids. Ask anyone that's done mescaline by itself and who has done various psychoactive cacti species. The cacti is way more intense and potent because of the many many many alkaloids in it that are psychoactive and potentiate mescaline and make the experience more complete and intense. Mescaline also takes a significant amount to get a full blown trip out of so saying "take you to different worlds" is misleading I feel like when most people probably won't do that much just cooking a cutting of san pedro up (unless they were very un/lucky) the nausea from mescaline and mescaline containing cacti alone would be enough to drive a majority of users far away from the stuff.
HPPD does not cause psychotic delusions. That would be drug induced psychosis or schizophrenia, etc. HPPD only usually causes slight visual disturbances, also very easy to tell apart from reality. No amount of HPPD will cause you to hallucinate people that are indistinguishable from reality. If you have “HPPD” and are seeing full on people, you are mentally ill, or in psychosis 😭
Excellent point. He went all soft on some of the drugs that CAN kill you and clapped hard against LSD & Shrooms. Never killed anyone, leaving MK Ultra out of it that is. Peace
I was in the hospital in excruciating pain a few years back (like passing out, vomiting, not being able to see) and the rn gave me like 0.001mLs of fentanyl iv. In like a minute I was walking and talking normal and like nothing was wrong. That shit scares me.
We call them "substance use disorder" in the DSM (basically a dictionary of mental diagnoses for psychiatrists), not "addiction". Addiction is normal if you need a cup of coffee to wake up in the morning. Because this has no negative health effects, there is no point in getting treatment. Substance use disorder is when the substance use causes harmful health effects, and in that case you do need medical treatment. For example, morphine pills prescribed for chronic pain will almost always cause addiction, but unless this causes harmful health effects (such as buying fentanyl from the local street dealer and risking an overdose), you do not have substance use disorder. The benefits of the morphine pills outweigh the risks if taken as prescribed.
Well said. Finally some rational discourse. Thank you. I am 70% handicapped by definition bc of chronic pain. I get a month's worth of morphine sulphate tablets, have a prescription that says I can take up to 3 x's 200mgs (yes I am aware that is a ton) depending on pain. I mostly take 200mgs at noon & that's it but on vacation, with lots of movement I may take more. The difference is, though my body is clearly dependent on this substance, I don't exhibit drug seeking behavior or any damaging behaviors. In fact, at 42yoa I had finally purchased my 1st property, an apartment in the capitol of Lower Austria. Bought & paid for, not trying to super humble brag, just not something a non wealthy "Addict" could do. Peace
Nicotine also affects people differently. When I smoked, I smoked approximately 1/2 a pack a day. Had an ex who couldn’t sleep without waking up every 45 minutes to smoke. I suppose other people also have varying levels of nicotine addiction. And yeah, it’s a nightmare to quit. Easier to quit heroin.
It's not anywhere close to as dangerous as people think . For example the whole thing about contact overdose was just a lie completely made up because obviously it was
This feller capping about the fent. Fent takes hours upon hours to absorb through the skin and pretty much needs to be snorted. Cops usually cap about the danger of storming fent filled drug dens
Exactly. It's mainly used in IV and smoked more than snorting though, I know because I'm a recovering opioid addict and used to smoke blues unfortunately.
Did you notice he used Roxy 30s as the fentanyl reference? That would be oxycodone. I could see how someone who don't know sh** about drugs would think that tho. Clearly dude did zero research and just went off of whatever he heard somewhere. @@jojourias6766
I mean it can, but I get what you are saying. You could stick your hand into a kilo of pure Fentanyl and then wash your hands & you'll be fine. My dad is on a Fentanyl transdermal patch & of all the times I've applied it for him & it got stuck on my finger for a second, I'd be dead 100x's over. Peace
The hell it can't. Some of the first deaths were from patches. You even said yourself yoyr dad's on one. How the hell would it work if it wasn't released through his skin? People take those patches and do everything they can to get the fent out from licking it to sticking it on their balls.
Some research(I haven't looked that deeply into it) has shown that the fent patches don't actually have fent it's a placebo because they said they would deliver but couldn't get a real fent patch to work so they released a patch that does nothing
Just a quick little info bit about fentanyl, a lot of the times when it's being used for those who are in accidents and such, they're usually on a ventilator that manually breathes for them, so overdose isn't possible really in clinical settings if procedures are done correctly. Cancer patients who are opioid tolerant though sometimes are given it as a take home in a lollipop or nasal spray form. Usually they've been on high dose opioids for so long the fentanyl is the only medication that will help them with what is called "breakthrough pain".
I'm more than happy with just weed, and the occasional shroom experience (maybe 2-3 times a year). Don't need/want anything else, alcohol included. Just too dangerous, in a family with a history of addiction, which is why I decline prescriptions for something like Ritalin and Adderall etc. Oh right... I'm also a total caffeine addict. I've cut back in the last few years... but I cannot start the day without some form of caffeine. I almost immediately start getting withdrawal headaches. It sucks. And it's only caffeine.
@repugnant__6379 I must agree. I'm 15+ years off H but cannot claim, "sobriety ". I smoke herb a few times a year. Drink alcohol at social gatherings, take mushrooms 2-4x's a year for a mental check in. Just bein' honest. But thank our Maker that we got out b4 Fent started dropping people even more than H. I was in a sober living home when I heard a batch of H came into Madison Wisconsin, & sent 60+ people to the hospital within 12 hours, don't remember how many died, but I remember people fleeing treatment to find this "good dope". Peace
I know a lot about psychedelics (and hallucinogens in general) because I became fascinated by them a few years ago and learned as much info about them as I possibly could and of all the psychedelics I've learned about, the only one that I've NEVER heard anything good about is salvia. LSD, mushrooms, DMT, mescaline, etc. have their negatives for sure (but I will say mescaline seems to be the most consistently positive for the user) but salvia only EVER gets talked about badly. It sounds terrifying 😭
Fun fact: fentyl was so bad in the US south it became standard for stores to keep sanitizer and wipes by the shopping carts and baskets to keep away accidental contact. (Severl people had already died from a fentyl combo know as 'Gray Death' which and nearly killed a couple of cops and a few children.)
Mescaline is the gentlest psychedelic I have ever used. You described it as something intense but it is not. Even in high doses it is not as intense as LSD or mushrooms for example. The mescaline trip is very slow and pleasurable, in fact it even looks like MDMA but with hallucinations.
“Addictive substance in marijuana” first of all “marijuana” (use cannabis marijuana isn’t a proper term and it as only coined cause of racism) isn’t addictive unless the user as an addictive personality.
26:30 the meth mouth rotten teeth thing is actually because of your teeth bashing and grinding against eachother when you consume high doses. It is not because of the gums getting weaker etc. The Lowered release of saliva while on amphetamine, also causes the teeth to rot faster, with the teeth grinding accelerating this even further. Most speed users have excellent oral hygiene, trust me, ive known people. Its just what happens
I get what you're doing, & you are 100% right, but this dude is soo wrong. To try and counteract his disinformation has my fingers hurting from typing. No, but they do have panic attacks and think they've ODd bc they've been poorly trained. Happens all the time but they never have anything in their system
Bullshit, fent is nothing to mess around with. It takes less than a grain of salt worth to kill an adult. Addicts generally build up a heroin tolerance before mixing fentanyl in to get that feeling again
From someone who has done LSD and im sure anyone else here who has can agree with this, you want to avoid a bad trip on LSD? Just remember when you take it your gonna laugh your ass off, and dont try to lay down and sleep. I once got so amazed for like 20 minutes at a cornfield blowing in the wind cause it looked like water. Fun shit. Final thing im gonna add, i know someone who took 8 doses of LSD at once, he dont remember much of what happened but he is fine, i also know someone who did a whole sheet, not at once but a single tab a day, he is also fine, he was a little weird to begin with and he is equally as weird now. A sheet is 100 tabs for anyone who needs that info
the big thing that is misunderstood about peyote cactus is that it’s pretty much a different type of mushroom trip it reacts with the brain very similarly to pscylocibin. many of the information known about it is from people taking it in extremely high doses and not keeping in mind that having a bad state of mind whilst taking any sort of drug that makes you trip is an extremely bad idea.
A little correction, the active ingredient in peyote cactus is TMP(trimethoxyphenethylamine),in psilocybin mushrooms ,4- PO-Dimethyltryptamine;one is a phenethylamine, the other,a tryptamine, one, cacti, the other, fungi. Like many other posters, you should check facts before posting, also, the content creator is clueless &,Peyote contains many psychoactive alkaloids besides TMP(Mescaline)
For someone to OD to the point of needing narcan by simply touching fentanyl they would have to touch idek how many patches. Also the video of the cop having an “overdose” and needing to be narcanned multiple times because the wind blew fentanyl directly into her nose.. lol 😂 she either psyched herself into thinking it was an OD or she snorted some of it on the low. I’m not saying it’s not dangerous but there’s a lot of false info that police of all people should know
Spice may arguably be one of the worst drugs out there cuz it dolls itself up like weed but once it gets u alone it turns into meth vice, "undercover". Peace, glad ur ok. I had a "friend" pass me a bowl of spice saying it was weed, might have been K2, let's just say we're not friends anymore.
Here’s a tidbite of information for you.. Bathsalts used to be legal. When sativa came out as a synthetic substitute for weed, bathsalts came out as an alternative for the white/crystal stuff. Long story short, it didn’t take too long for the law to realize that putting bathsalts on the shelves of smoke shops were an extremely bad idea. So within 2 years it started to get pulled from the shelves. I think it was actually less than a year. I remember being old enough to buy that stuff when it just came out. I also remember wanting to try it and it getting pulled off of the shelves as soon as I wanted to buy sativa. That could’ve been a year or 2 after it came out, I don’t remember, it was almost 20 years ago. I just remember it being gone really quickly
I can’t believe the narrator called Fenty “if crack went super Saiyan”!! Im rolling!! 🤣🤣🤣 Brownie points for the Dragon Ball Z easter egg! 👍🏻👍🏻 Also bonus points for replacing r*pe with grape!
I'm probably not the first to point out that some kinds of addiction are left out. You are addicted to cigarettes long before you qualify as a chain smoker. Also alcoholism: you can be an alcoholic even if you just drink one shot and maybe a beer per day but everyday or you drink only once or twice per month/week but it's connected to something like the paycheck and you go binge drinking everytime you get your money. Those addictions aren't necessarily physical but hard to break through nonetheless. In my opinion very important to mention so some viewers don't think they are safe just because of the info they got from this video but are running straight towards an addiction. Especially with cigarettes and alcohol since they are accepted and easily available for practically anyone at any time. Sure, every normal person SHOULD know that, especially when they're adults but sadly many kids start smoking and drinking long before they have all the infos. Because- if it is legal for adults it cant be bad, right? At least I can imagine a 10 year old thinking that if they didn't have any contact to those substances before, in their family for example. I did start to smoke when I was 12 or 13 because everyone did in the orphanage I did grow up in and did relapse everytime I got away from it.
I use cannabis for pain. The only other drugs I like are LSD, DMT, and psilocybin. I'll use caffeine occasionally (like a single dose of >100mg every other month or so) but I don't really like it. I'd like to try salvia and mescaline some day.
Me too bro ❤ my indos and never had a problem I quit smoking thanks to psilocybin and DMT is just wow LSD you gotta be a bit careful with but mostly it's dosing to much.
@@snickzonesnickzone5242 I can live without LSD. I'd rather stick to natural stuff anyway. DMT is only someone I do every now and then at this point (like once or twice a year if that). @Pumpvrgamer this guy has a lot of misconceptions based within propaganda or myths of drugs, complete truth is better regarding drugs because there will always be some individuals to do them and it's better they do safely instead of thinking all drugs are fine because one that got demonized (usually weed) isn't that bad they think that applies for others
not for opiate naive people. also back in the day they also made 160mg pills which could kill most people without a tolerance if they tried to shoot it
I know that cigarettes are the poster boy for nicotine; but I always get really annoyed when people forget about chewing tobacco. I've been trying to quit dipping for years. One can of dip has 3 times more nicotine than a pack of cigarettes. All the gums, patches, and non tobacco pouches they have are horrifically underpowered if you're trying to quit. It also seems like they can't even attempt to find a substitute that feels or tastes like the real stuff.
I don't take any drugs except for booze, though I'm not an addict (I can't afford to be lol), but you sold me on that flakka stuff. Being overheated, paranoid and chased by demons sounds great, sign me up! =P
I feel like this video could've just grouped all opioids/opiates all into the same segment because they all do the same thing and are essentially the same drug. There could've definitely been another segment for Krokodil and Carfentanil and Fentanyl explaining how potent and bad they are compared to other opioids, but heroin, morphine, oxycodone etc etc are all essentially the same thing. It all metabolizes into oxymorphone or hydromorphone and has the same effects on your brain and body. Maybe a separate section for opium because it's usually smoked and not the same as like shooting heroin or pharmaceuticals but yeah. This video could've probably been like half the duration 😅 18:08
Once while we were working in closed laboratory some one forgot to closed the bottle containing concentrated Toulene..the air vent was not working properly that day also..once we smell the funny smell of Toulene and suddenly some of us nearer to the open bottle started to feel woozy, just lump down on the floor and hallucinated, some quickly run out off the lab and call for help...the rescuer comes with a full suit and found us unconscious and all of us including those not unconscious have to be fumigated. We woke up with a dry mouth and raging headache in a hospital. Luckily no further serious effect are found. At the time while I was hallucinating I thought I just die and we all are in some kind of limbo with hazy cloud surrounding us. That was the only drugs experience I have done in my life. And no even if I was to be paid a thousand dollars I wouldn't do it again. A million maybe. Luckily even though Toulene are also the main ingredient for those who practice inhaling as it is used for solvent in paint thinner, glue, paint spray and also found in gasoline. Its not addictive or have a withdrawal habit but constant sniffing will demage your CNS, Kidney and Liver. Anyway don't do Drugs if you value your life. Its costly and will hampered your productivity and will shortened your life. Even if you are feeling down in life and are in the low remember its not always thunder and cloud and rain, sunshine and fine weather are also there.
They have literal scientist dedicated to trying to figure out how to make it more addictive, more rewarding, and cost the least amount of money for them to produce (which means cutting corners for profits leading to more dangerous product than it already is.)
Opium is not just morphine.
Ty for all that knowledge. Glad you made it to here with not too too much brain damage.

Fentanyl can't be absorbed through the skin
It technically can under certain circumstances. Fentanyl transdermal patches are sometimes prescribed for pain
My dad actually used fentanyl patches for his pain before fentanyl was considered a drug
For me weed enhances my anxiety instead of reducing
GOKU FENT RAAAAAAHHH
Just too dangerous, in a family with a history of addiction, which is why I decline prescriptions for something like Ritalin and Adderall etc.

the big thing that is misunderstood about peyote cactus is that it’s pretty much a different type of mushroom trip it reacts with the brain very similarly to pscylocibin. many of the information known about it is from people taking it in extremely high doses and not keeping in mind that having a bad state of mind whilst taking any sort of drug that makes you trip is an extremely bad idea.

Should have added Ativan and clonopin to the benzo list. Withdrawal from either of them can cause seizures and put you in the hospital.
