I've wanted to get into panning for quite some time but never got around to it. I'm in the process of purchasing some equipment & once spring arrives in 2-3 months I'll get out there & start panning. You need a dry land suction dredge with a water sprayer to really clean out those crags. Draw out that gold at the bottom of those crevasses scraping just dislodges, water hydro dynamics would clear it.

That colour pink rocks! With such a vibrant colour u can really spot that gold. And I reckon that if the colour pink was worn more for hunting in the bush, there would be less shooting tragedies amongst hunters...just saying.
id recommend a sawyer over the lifestraw as you can backflush it making it last many many times longer but both are great products still. i have a katadyn,sawyer and a potable aqua pure for hiking or shtf. i cant wait to find some gold that size, everything i find is like 100 mesh

Chris, I had a look on the website & they only have pocket sized in blue according to that, but they don't mention what colours they have them in either, including pink. My eyes are not the best these days & we have a lot of very fine flour gold with high silver content i believe up this way with a ton of black sand & i reckon even in that pale goldy green colour they have them in on website would be hard work seeing very fine gold with also. I personally prefer black after having a old well worn blue pan, but everyone's preference is different hey. Hope to see you next week, depending on the anxiety & the heat, but fingers crossed. Window is the answer, I think. I have carried a Lifestraw for several years in my prospecting pack. They are available here in the U.S. I got mine at Bass Pros. They have a product here int he States that will crack rock or concrete by putting it in holes or cracks. Non- explosive. Drawback is it takes quite a while to work, but a great product.

Just amazing job. I hate to say it but you have surpassed Jeff Williams. I love love love Jeff!, but you Chris have taken over the gold videos on You Tube. I only am able to do river and creeks prospecting, the way you teach is amazing. The part on mental health is great also. I suffer from anxiety for about 20 years, some people just don't get it. I always hear " it's all in your head" . Some people don't get it. I even had a boss once tell me " Just take a pill and sit down" I was so upset. Anyway peace to you. E_Thatch.
I got the same issue brother. It,s not easy to get out of a mood when your upset. Pills kinda hold you in the (middle )you arnt real happy, but your not so depressed to an extream. But you can still get worked up to a point beyond up or down . But its just dosn't happen to you as often when you use the medication. I tried to stop taking mine and people in my life said I was having a bad attitude to often, angery so I'm on it again.
