    Wow! Everything we
    need to know about trim, millwork, casings, etc. - but didn’t even realize!
    I truly appreciate that you break each subject matter into “bite size” pieces. It makes it easier for me to learn and absorb. Of course, I watch each of your sessions several times, and soak it all in.
    Thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience, and home.

    I wish I'd watched this before I added mine. I did mine at 36. I wanted to do the panels like you have up your stairs, but I was doing it myself, so I took the easier option. I love it. I still can't believe I did it. It looks so classy and elegant in a novist kinda way. I came across an article after I was finished with mine that 30 to 32 was really what I should have used according to greek architecture. They were very architecturally smart way back then. Absolutely love your style.

    This is such an informative video, the best I've seen on this topic, thank you. We have an older, traditional condo. The entrance hall and formal dining room have painted wainscotting (both seprate but visible from the living room). We would like to add wall paneling to the formal living room, as is typical in Parisian apartments. Do you think it would be best to have a lower panel, the same height as the wainscotting, or just do tall panels? Ceilings are 9 ft.

    Miriam, detailed, professional, clear and concise as one is drawn to each topic provided. We are starting from the beginning, love your home style and hope since it is used as an example, you could share how your walls are built out piece by piece. With so many examples it is challenging in connecting the final product, which is timeless, to the details.

    Thank you for this informative video! You’re walls are so beautiful and timeless! I have been planning to add applied moldings to my walls and will now consider the ceilings too- do you typically use the same shape molding for the ceiling as you do on the wall? Do you also space it 4” from the crown molding? Thank you!

    Nice job. I live in very humid place, those mdf withstand humidity well? They don’t soften/deteriorate for 5 years or so? I like the idea you mentioned of having high ceiling look.. however, what would you recommend if the walls have lots of furniture , my house is tiny and furnitures are like train from sofa to piano to tables and so on.. lol 😂 won’t be able to see the 30cm rail. Would it be awkward to raise it above sofa, say 4 feet or 120cm from floor? Ceiling is just 9feet high/ 2.7m.

    I’m moving to a mid 19th century home with original elaborate layered crown molding as a key feature. In this instance would paneling be a complete no no?

    Very informative. What if you have a 2 story living room or foyer and you want to fill in the blank walls (rather than emphasize the already too tall ceiling height? Do you vary the proportion of the upper box or use more than 2?

    I have loved watching your videos and reading some of your blog. Do you have a go-to warm white paint colour? My kitchen was recently redone, but unfortunately the cabinets arrived in a cool white and it is bringing out all of the cool colours in the new granite. It is causing the open kitchen to feel cold and uninviting, as well as not working with the warm elements in the rest of my living space :(

    • @miriammanzointeriors

      hi, thanks for watching, our favourite white is bm oc 18 check it against the granite to make sure it has enough warmth and depth.

    Your content is helpful but can you please hire a voice coach to help with delivery - harsh, staccato, short sentences are tough to listen to. Your talent is undisputed so please don’t be offended …you will grow your channel 10x if you can share your info in a smooth, friendlier manner.

    • @olympicslondon2012
      @olympicslondon2012 Год назад +1

      I don't think there's anything wrong with the way she delivers. It is a different style. I do think her style of saying, "so" is quite unique. Could be due to her accent or any other reason. She may even have a medical reason (keeping my fingers crossed that she's healthy and happy). I think you just don't like the voice or the style.
      Not trying to be an a** to you, just saying it may be your personal issue. There is a particular RUclipsr I follow; I love her attitude and her contents but I find her voice pretty annoying. However, that's only me and I've never said it on her channel. I don't expect her to change her voice for me lol. However, I have never found Miriam's delivery annoying. I have noticed her delivery is different but it was never hard on my ears. That's why I'm just relating that it could be because your personal preference.
      Peace ❤
