Nice one. I have often thought of having a track running at picture rail height in the house, but, for some reason, my wife doesn't agree! ;-)

Very interesting Mike, I presume the total running length is 32 feet - a substantial layout. I'm impressed that one little engine can easily pull such a large number of wagons 😍

Hello from the East Riding of Yorkshire. Just watched your latest video and I have to say that's a great idea for an N gauge layout. Well done and keep safe. 👍🚂.

Nice idea. I've seen a few model railroads run layouts like that. One thought about the prints: have you looking into selling the files rather than prints? It's what I'm doing with my Z & N scale models. Can't wait to see how the micro N is coming along!

I reckon Doug has been watching my channel...😂🎉 Good to see someone else trying it, Its amazing what you can do with that space, but getting levels for the track is an absolute nightmare. Side to side and back to front. Plus now im onto scenics its getting harder due to lack of room for modelling.

@@BudgetModelRailways me to...! But I found my cabin was all sorts of wobbly 😂 it was the front to back that I completely missed when building, I didn't appreciate that track needs to be 95% flat to work. I put it down to a steep learning curve being my first attempt. Still I'm happy with it and I much prefer it than my small roundy roundy. Thanks for the great content as usual 👍

Hi Mike and Doug! I like that a lot it looks really good running round the top there.
£500 for a baseboard ? All I did when I started out was put a couple of flooring sheets on a old dinning room table,I then added more sheets to the outside walls of a spare bedroom, that cost about a fifth of £500 😂😂

Nice little project and these cars look good.
The containers seem a bit out of proprtion though but that might also be the colours.
Still, you get plenty for a good price this way.
    They can be really expensive.
You thought of insulation but I wonder how many people really think about that when they plan to build a layout in a shed.
It takes quite a lot of planning if you do anything more than just store tools in it.
