    A guy in my city got 40 years the other day just for fleeing the police. The last guy gets 18 months probation and has to take an anger management class for nearly killing his kid and constant abuse? What a great world we live in.

    • @Hoch134
      @Hoch134 8 лет назад +21

      +Melissa Deleon He probably made it look like he actually didn't know about it and his wife was the culprit, while on the other hand that guy in your city probably did more than just fleeing and was probably known before (why would he flee without any reason?). And in the end it's just a matter of words.
      With the right words you get almost no sentence at all, with the wrong ones you can get into prison for years. Even for robbing.

      A teenager in my town killed both his parents with a bat in their house and threw a party right after with the bodies in the next room. Another teen shot at a police officer and is getting life in prison. I understand what you are saying.

      I mean, what was his ultimate plan if he didn't get caught. He probably would've killed him right? How else did he plan to get away with it. And how did the police not find the kid when he was first reported missing! Don't they search the house for real

    • @carthiefd
      @carthiefd 8 лет назад +4

      +TheOtherWhiteBread0 You're actually incorrect, which makes me wonder why you're criticizing others for not thinking before they speak. Here's an excerpt from an article on Nagy's case:
      "But he never arrived and the following day his burnt-out car was found on the side of the road.
      "He'd never been away from home without telling anyone," Jennifer said.
      "It was very soon after that everyone started rallying around and started putting out the big alarm bells."
      About two weeks later, Mr Nagy withdrew money from his bank account and used it to buy camping supplies at a store in Newcastle.
      It would be their last clue as to his movements."
      www.news.com.au/national/gabriel-nagy-comes-home-after-23-years-lost/story-e6frfkp9-1226442593840
      Also, even if the video here didn't specify that fact, it's an extremely logical conclusion from the information given. We know he was eventually found, so it's clear he wasn't murdered for his bank cards.
      Lastly, pretending he wasn't found for a moment, hearing that the final transaction on a missing man's bank card was a purchase of camping supplies is going to cause some to assume, quite logically, that the supplies were bought in order to aid in an intentional disappearance. There are always other possibilities as well, but here the people you replied to were correct.

    I remember the natasha kampusch case. I was a kid when I first heard of it and I remember seeing it on all the news and everybody was talking about that when she was found alive. it was surprising,everyone thought she was already dead and gave up their hopes.

    if you have room for more in another part, might I suggest the story of Ariel Castro abducting 3 girls, Michelle Knight (21), Amanda Berry (day before turning 17), and Gina DeJesus 14). They were all kidnapped in the Cleveland, Ohio area between 2002 and 2004, and all were found alive in 2013 in Castro's home

      +Lee Darklighter Exactly! It's so obvious, the display of blatant dishonesty at that level. And to be given such a light sentence for what very well may have been a case of attempted murder as the comment above yours states. You nailed it, though. You could see it in his face, he was guilty. And more than likely would have been guilty of something far worse had the boy not been found in the amount of time that they did.

    Number 5 I remembered that story. They hid the kid and its sad that they made him go through that. I remember they said that every time the cops got to close to where they hid the kid one of the parents tried to talk the cop away from the area. But they also had dogs to sniff out the kid. For some reason the dog couldn't sniff the kid out which I found odd. But besides all that,I am glad the kid was found and is safe now.

    Wait, first you get torture charges and then you get sentenced to anger management. I know the charge didn't stick, but the emotional trauma from that horrific treatment will most like "torture" that young boy for the rest of his life, and if he does recover and learn to forgive, that man and woman who acted out these crimes has likely never learned. Considering, in each court hearing, they were both "well" dressed.
    In far lesser cases defendants are in oranges, making them look guilty any way. I am absolutely sickened.
