@@Crohniebiker btw did your wife get a ride in the Honda CB500X? What did she think of it? I have one, it’s a fantastic little bike tbh. It has Really surprised me.
@@tweetchris46 no she still hasn't tried one yet but she's still interested. Hopefully she'll get to try one when this is all over. I personally think they look great 👍
@@Crohniebiker I've got a 1290 R - but I am mega impressed with the 890. Must admit I love the looks of the 1290 which dictated my decision (hides in shame!)
Definitely not. I have Sports-Bike Tyres on my Moto Guzzi Stelvio (120/70-17 front, 180/55-17 rear), and I did the Trail on it without any issues, even the 'Bombhole'. Might have been different if it had been wet, and I only did the 'easy' parts of the course, there were some more technical sections where I'd have struggled with the muddy uphill bits. Much longer Trail this year, around 12 miles apparently, so should be interesting. Again, they'll have an 'Easy' Trail for beginners, or those on pure road Bikes, with various more challenging sections dotted around for proper off-road Bikes. One Girl did the Trail on a 'Cruiser' (Kawasaki Vulcan or similar) in 2019, she had no problems at all. Can't wait . . .
Hi, Im looking at going this year 2020, anything i need to be aware of before i purchase tickets? Was it possible to get access to all that you needed to experience, ie did the que's go down enough for you? Did you have to pay for anything else, or was it all included in the entrance/camping weekend fee? Your feed back would be greatly appriciated. Regards Dean
Hi Dean you won't regret it if you go . All the test rides and off road experience are free , theres plenty to do all included in price you just have to feed and water yourself . All the manufacturers offer test rides but as expected there's going to be queuing. Hope to see you there 👍🏍🍻
Really enjoyed this video. I’ve Got tickets for this year, never been before....looks like a great weekend. Thanks
Thanks for watching im going again this year its an amazing weekend.

Thanks for watching. Already purchased my tickets for next year too 👍
We thinking of attending 2020 looks a blast
Do it ! You wont regret it .
Try an 890 - same weight - practically nothing in it performance wise between an 890 and a 1190 till you're past 120mph.
I agree ,I tried the 790 in the video and was well impressed, apart from my 1190 feels like It has more room which I prefer .thanks for watching.

did you need off road tyres ? cant really afford to swap mine out just for a weekend
No you won't need dedicated off road tyres. I was on contitrail which are more for road. If its dry you will be fine 🙂
Definitely not.
