Personally have found the past 2 windows to be refreshing. Spending had gotten out of control in 2022 & 2023 and was clearly unsustainable.
The slower market allows for mid size teams to actually keep their players and build something. Makes the leagues more competitive
Of course the likes of Girona and Bologna and other smaller clubs will still get picked over. But It’s nice to see teams like Leverkusen able to keep the squad together

Ticket prices are dirt cheap for football tickets compared to the U.S. MLS i more expensive in many places. It's crazy. And NFL and NBA i don't even consider going to unless i'm given a ticket.
