2023 Project Zomboid Mods Guide - 35+ Mods, Build 41, QoL - What I wish I knew sooner

- Decided to make "What I wish I knew sooner" a series & kick it off with a 2nd installment around a project zomboid mods onboarding I wish I had when first started!
This is intended to focus mods that don't change the vanilla mechanics but add clarity to the gameplay & help reduce the learning curve! Some are great to keep long term or disable if you feel more comfortable with the game but enjoy!
Example: Proximity Inventory would have made it to the cut for Inventory Management, but it does impact some mechanics but is seen used.

Good job on the video, I have never installed so many mods from any suggestion video before. I would like to see mod creater name next to mod name, as sometimes in steam you might have 2 mods with same names.

Where can I find the "tsarslib" that a lot of my downloaded mods required me to download? I tried searching "tsarslib" on stream workshop, and tried to cherry picked a few of the results on search and downloaded it, but apparently I didn't hit it lmao
Great video dude, but can I ask if you would ever consider in the future talking about modlist order, game version compatibility and other mod related stuff like those? Cause I'm a pc gaming noob that been running pz with waaay too many mods for my pc to handle so its been chaotic to say the least 😂
Haha yeah I can check that out, all these are compatible with each other & have been maintained or tested since the release of 41.78 but since it is a entry level list I feel that. Would be interested to know what you have running if you wanna send a few screenshots by email

Interesting, just tested it out & seems to be working as expected. Running any other related mods with it? Hair textures/ui changes?
I feel like some of the mods are already in base game so I'm a bit confused? For example the showing of the minimap and the rename container on.
Mini map is only accessible through sandbox options & I believe you can only rename containers that you can equip like bags etc

Dumb question, but any reason why downloaded/suscribes mods just won’t work? I’ve tried loading them all in, changing their load order, or just turning a single one on and they literally never work.

I believe it was Authentic Z backpacks + mod that includes plenty of attachments etc

I couldn't tell you how many hours I've spent modding and fixing the load order for zomboid it's crazy
it get pretty rough sometimes
@saint_kendrick still messing about with them now, I can't get the stuff to work for the bear bus. After reading the magazine I can't find the plow/bullbar/ anything atlier in the crafting menu I put that about all other car mods and I'm gonna see if it's worked 🤷♂️
ugh i just hate all these mods turning an awesome realistic survival game into an arcade game!!
