Framber may have stumbled a bit but the pitching did its job. The bats have been asleep since the end of the season. But honestly I never expected much of this version of the team for the playoffs, i was just happy they made it in after how it started.

Why does it always feel like our offense is always struggling going into the playoffs besides 2022 and 2017 it's annoying.
The good news is that they got their ace out of the way, but they really need to pick up the offense.

People are so negative. I don't think this loss was a big deal at all. I think the Astros can win Wednesday and Thursday. If they don't, you will live and so will they. It's unbelievable how overly emotional this fanbase is. If this were a regular 3 game series and we lost the first game, you would think we'll win the next one and maybe/probably the one after that. But since it's a playoff series, you think it's over. It's so dumb.

I think people are dissatisfied because some of the managerial decisions didn't put the team in the best position to win. This is not a deep lineup that can just turn it on in the playoffs but it's being managed like it is.

The Tigers just loss two to the White Sox, and the Astros just won two to the Guardians. The Tigers were due for a win and the Astros were due for a loss. I seriously doubt the team is panicking as much as the fanbase.
You’re not going to wear down the Tigers staff in a 3 game series.
Each guy only pitches 1 or 2 innings. No matter how effective he is. You might see a “bulk” guy in there ( more than 2 innings), and you might not. Hinch has doing this for 6 weeks.

I had the astros not winning the World Series ever again after firing James Click. He knew how to build a team and pitching staff.

A series is supposed to provide sufficient number of games to filter out the best team.
Astros are built for a 7 game series. While tigers are specifically built for this 3 game series.
Now if the astros just have a bad day tommorow the season is over despite them being the better team.
