I think they are all Alpha, and in the traditional sense too. The unclear closer situation is the result of them all being that good because they were all the guy. The humility is required on this squad not optional. What's happening right now is very organic, these guys are all superstar players in there previous basketball lives in college and high-school. They were the guy. Now they had to learn to play on a true team full of "da guys" no joke but the Rockets are full of what I think are Generational talent. There is something extremely special about this club. Being a playoff team is all but guaranteed, I think they are very very unique and have a had to find a way stylistically and rhythmically to play together and win being who they are individually and it's starting to happen, not only that but they seem to all actually be becoming better than who they were at draft day skill set wise. This Rockets team reminds me of the 2003-2004 Detroit Pistons. No exactly top 5 or top 10 superstar or any player averaging 20+ ppg but with Larry Brown as they’d defensive minded coach led a bunch of tough defensive minded players to an unexpected championship.

I used to love those Rick Adelman teams that didn’t have a star because they made up for it with effort….but THIS….this is on a whole other level! We have the effort of those Rockets teams plus some combined with the depth and talent of those 90’s Seattle SuperSonics teams. I feel like our only weakness is not having a clear cut alpha for the final minute of the game in close games. I trust Jalen Green the most in those situations right now which I could never imagine myself saying that a year ago.

The only complaint I have are the slow starts on offense. If they can fix that, this team can win a playoff series. This defense is something they can hang their hats on.

Jaylen needs to be more efficient. Somehow dropped significantly after starting off hot.

The shooters are the key, Sengun gets doubled and Jalen can beat a lot of guys off the dribble causing the defense to rotate. If the other guys are shooting well we will definitely be top 5 in the west.

By the End of Next Season this Team will be Full of Stars, without a single Trade.

They might be better team skillfully but the rockets plays with heart every single game

Where am I at? Same place I was in the offseason. My prediction was and still is the 6 seed. All these trade rumors of the rockets star hunting is making me uncomfortable though. Don’t break up this unit.

These last 2 games really illustrate exactly why Ime didn’t want Harden back on the Rockets.

Crazy thing is we could have won 2 more easily to begin the season but our offensive stalls and terrible shooting lost us those easy games.

Keep your heads up. I was at the game and to be honest it felt like I was in Detroit after the game. It was wild. No bad blood with a AFC team. Young team building threw the draft. Reminds me of the Lions. I will be rooting for you guys in the playoffs.

Good, I watched this just the first half and went to bed but woke up to find Detroit Lions hsd won by three points. Congratulations to the Lions and keep Bates for those make or break wins.

Honestly, if Rockets actually want to go from good to very good team, bring FVV off the bench. I think he’ll help them off the bench than as a starter. Yeah he can still get 28 to 30 mins and close games but I really like Amen starting next to Green. He brings so much more defensively that out weigh what FVV brings them offensively. Offensively Amen won’t jack up shots like FVV does or takes shots away from Sengun & Green. What FVV does can be done off the bench. Other teams PGs & SGs are taking advantage of him on the defensive end.

Slowik is stubborn i.e. can’t adjust and has no in-game feel and it’s like he doesn’t understand the personnel he has
